I find it useful that it allows us to foresee expected burn and invoicing month on month, and it makes it easy to see when projects are expected to finish so that people can be lined up for other projects. **What do you dislike about Forecast?** Forecast only links to one Harvest instance, which doesn't work for organizations that have grown to include multiple business units each with their own Harvest instance. It would be great if it could handle multiple 'organizations' under one tool. Additionally, I wish it could automatically load public holidays, track leave from Harvest or another system, and show this in the Forecast calendar. Capacity management is the name of the game but unfortunately, we found that tasks do not automatically update when there is a change in an individual's capacity. i.e. if someone changes from 4 days a week to 5 days a week, Forecast doesn't view this as adding any additional capacity. To make it work you have to manually adjust every task assigned to that person. There's also a strange bug whereby if you change the number of DAYS a person works (note, not the total number of hours a person works), this also messes up the capacity calculation. There's other strange failings - it doesn't sync well with Harvest, even though they're linked apps. You can't view capacity by month, only by week. It sounds too good to be true, and it is. If you find yourself finding gaps during the trial and are promised "it's in the pipeline," ask for a month-to-month contract to protect you from non-delivery. This application has one of the most important features that is Status tracking which I use for tracking the progress of a product or service. FORECAST app is web-based, windows, android, iPhone, Ipad, and Mac. The language which supports this application is only English. This software has a ranking feature that supports agile and supports scrum. Task management is also a ranking feature of this software. **What do you dislike about Forecast?** Forecast has some disadvantages. Also I wish it gave you more reporting options in terms of scheduling delivery, timing options and just more metrics overall. I also would like it to have more training materials to help you when you begin. **What problems is Forecast solving and how is that benefiting you?** Forecasting sales for my client by season, market, month and channel. We work under a contractor system so this is also the way we keep track of projects and when each statement of work is up. My responsibility is to keep everything up to date and ensuring projects and people are distributed correctly and dates are always updated.
