**What do you like best about Eventzilla?**

The platform is easy to use and integrates the options I'd need to host a great event. I enjoy being able to tag sponsors, include agendas, easily develop ticketing discounts and more. The prices are reasonable, integrates well with our host domain, and the platform performs quickly- even on the app.

**What do you dislike about Eventzilla?**

Not much. It's not as popular as Eventrbite so that presents challenges.

**What do you like best about Eventzilla?**

Eventzilla is super easy to use.
All instructions are clear and everything is super simple. 
It doesn't have all the fancy bells and whistles that an Eventbrite does but that is fine for me, it makes it uncluttered and straightforward.
Also it's useful if you want to make an event but don't want it to be promoted to random people the way the Eventbrite algorithm does.

If you want a bunch of fancy stuff like Eventbrite has, this is not the program for you.

**What do you like best about Eventzilla?**

This platform offers nearly all the features you would expect from a premium event management solution. The integration with HubSpot is quite basic, but the options for customising tickets and add-ons are excellent. Their technical support team is very responsive and helpful. Setting up the platform is straightforward, making it easy for even those without technical expertise to create events.

**What do you dislike about Eventzilla?**

One drawback I’ve noticed with Eventzilla is that its branding flexibility is somewhat restricted. There aren’t many templates available for the event registration page, and the options for customising those pages are also quite limited.

**What problems is Eventzilla solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We organize in-person events and need to synchronize that data with our existing CRM. Eventzilla has been helpful in facilitating this process. Additionally, we are able to send emails and gather feedback using Eventzilla.

When you generate your own subdomain, the security certificate does not work and the client leaves the system.

**What do you like best about Eventzilla?**

Extremely easy to use. So many different tickets can be set up. We use several different tickets for one event and this software is truly flexible to our needs. I would have to say what I like best is the quick response from the Eventzilla staff. They always respond no matter what time of day. They have saved me several times with unusual issues popping up and they responded so quickly it was if we were in the same room together working on solutions. We are currently in the process of updating our updated programs and systems and I truly look forward to being able to integrate Eventzilla with our processes to make the transition as seamless as possible. They are very affordable and they are constantly changing and updating their programs to make our lives easier.

**What do you dislike about Eventzilla?**

Absolutely nothing! I have never had any negative issues whatsoever. In fact, it has always been the opposite...only sunshine and rainbows!

**Recommendations to others considering Eventzilla:**

Easy to set up and no issues collecting payments.

**What problems is Eventzilla solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to check in our attendees at our live events. We love how easy it is to upload our orders and then issue QR codes to scan at the event using a mobile device or computer. We have trained volunteers to help us and they can use their own devices to scan or check in attendees. We love the feature that gives our volunteers access to check in without displaying all of our personal information in our account. It is beneficial because we are no longer printing tickets so we have saved tremendously on that process as well.

What I like most about Eventzilla is how easy it is to set up an event from scratch. The interface is intuitive and allows you to customize registration forms, tickets, and the event page without any technical knowledge. I also really value the attendee tracking tools and real-time reporting, which help make better decisions during and after the event. Plus, customer support has been fast and helpful whenever I needed it.

**What do you dislike about Eventzilla?**

One area that could be improved is the integration with some external platforms—some of them aren’t as seamless as I expected. I also noticed that a few advanced features are only available in the higher-tier plans, which can be limiting for events with tight budgets. That said, the platform still delivers on its core promises.

**What problems is Eventzilla solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eventzilla helps us centralize all aspects of event organization in one place, from ticketing to attendee communication. This saves us time, reduces manual errors, and helps us deliver a more professional experience to our participants. **What do you like best about Eventzilla?**

For the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) I have been creating ticketed events, virtual, in-person and hybrid, for several years, using Eventbrite. 

Driven by dissatisfaction with the admin and customer experience of Eventbrite, we switched to Eventzilla for a trial, and after one completed event (400 tickets) and three other events in process, we have decided to remain with Eventzilla for all events, thanks to these much appreciated features:

1. Event setup strikes a very helpful balance between preconfigured design elements and layout and user configuration. For example, there are preconfigured templates available for featuring speakers and sponsors which work well and deliver consistent, visually attractive info. However one can also move the order of content on the main event page to fit whatever is preferred, so the speaker profiles can go first, or last, or anywhere, which is very helpful flexibility.

2. Within-app mailouts can accept copy and paste transfers of drafted content from Google Docs (and similar) retaining all the HTML formatting i.e., embedded hyperlinks and formatting, which is a huge boon to preparing multiple mailouts

3. Admin-side editing is made more pleasant thanks to quickly resizable editing boxes for all the larger blocks of content, such as event description. This may seem like an obvious feature, but some comparators do not enable it, with the result that you are editing within a tiny box that does not enable you to view more than a paragraph at a time whilst editing

4. Whilst there is not a directly visible product roadmap my direct experience is that the Eventzilla team are highly appreciative of roadmap input (I have seen some of my suggestions implemented since beginning use)

5. The configuration options available for the post-checkout action for ticket buyers are excellent, enabling delivery of clear, branded joining instructions, using both email and attachments. Our finding is that this has significantly improved the ticket buyer experience compared to our prior platform.

6. Experience of tech support has been positive. Within our initial account setup and first events setup we had several reasons to ask for specific help, and these were all satisfied in an effective and timely way.

**What do you dislike about Eventzilla?**

We began using Eventzilla just prior to the introduction of out of the box Stripe payment integration, which meant that we experienced an oddity within initial payment-taking setup, but this is now fully resolved and does not reoccur for new events or account creations.

Whilst not a dislike, it would be welcome to see a development roadmap indicating future features and an indicative timeline. 

Although minor, it would be welcome to be able to adjust the way that dates are presented within some admin-side interfaces so that these were not US date format i.e., MM, DD, YYYY. Note that in the customer-facing areas, the event date can be displayed as desired.

**What problems is Eventzilla solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to switching to use Eventzilla, our pain points, with another platform, were:

1. Poor admin user experience, including highly restricted event main page layout options, poorly performing editor functionality (small editing boxes and frequent content losses) and and inability to preview the user-side view of drafted content
2. Customer experience included many complaints about the use of the PayPal pop-up gateway, which failed completely for some and provided poor visibility of the option for checking out without logging in to PayPal

These pain points are absent from the Eventzilla experience, resulting in less admin burden and friction during event setup and so far, zero customer complaints to us.

**What do you like best about Eventzilla?**

This is my and my team's first time planning an event on this scale. From day one, Eventzilla has been so straightforward and easy to use. The way the system functions is so logical that it has been easy to implement and learn. When we've had questions, their support team has been responsive and helped us to learn the platform better and maximize our value. Every time we have come with a feature need, we've discovered that they already have it and are 10 steps ahead of us. I'm really excited for us to host this event because how easy Eventzilla has made it!

**What do you dislike about Eventzilla?**

We've had almost no problems with Eventzilla. When there has been an issue like a text box not showing up the way we need to, we've been able to bring to to Eventzilla and they've responded quickly and efficiently to solve the problem. I don't have any other feedback for Eventzilla at this time.

**What problems is Eventzilla solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is our first time implementing a nationwide in-person conference. Eventzilla has taken care of our registration needs, selling tickets, a lot of communication and all of the software we need to run this conference as well as providing the app so that we'll be able to communicate with all of the registered attendees!

The interface is simple to work with, which is greatly appreciated by this busy, small team. We can set up our virtual ticketing and event information quickly. We have used it for many events. The functionality has everything we need, our registrants have not had any issues with the system, and in the few times we've needed customer support Eventzilla's team has responded quickly and clearly to resolve any questions.

**What do you dislike about Eventzilla?**

I would like more admin control to modify registrations (for when the registrant does not enter things correctly), but I understand the security Eventzilla has to protect registrations. Security is a good thing.

**What problems is Eventzilla solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives a registration portal and ticketing system that we can set up in less than 24 hours and start promoting and accepting registrations and payments for immediately. The speed and simplicity has greatly helped our virtual event success.

The Stripe integration is great. The number of odd settings we need to tweak is crazy and Eventzilla lets us make them all. We get nice control of orders, discounts, communication with attendees, etc., right up until the event starts.

There are so many tools and customizations that are integrated into the platform that allow you to get as detailed as you'd like with your event. The platform is generally intuitive to figure out and super robust in its offerings. The pricing is also more reasonable than other platforms. You get more bang for your buck.

**What do you dislike about Eventzilla?**

There is no phone number to call customer support. You have to email them. Sometimes if you're working on something that needs immediate attention, you want to speak with someone on the phone to get it resolved quickly. I found some of the attendee registration clunky and glitchy. I had several attendees that thought they regsitered but somehow their registration didn't go through. I wish the reporting and search functions were better so you could search by some of your form information without having to download a full list of attendees.

Made registering for our attendees very easy and straight forward.  The integration with Zoom works well for the most part.  The event hub is a really nice feature to have and makes it easy for the attendees.  Overall, a positive experience

Had a couple of customer service requests go unanswered.  The Zoom integration lacks the option to register for a series vs a single event.

Eventzilla allowed us to easily allow our attendees to register more than one person right at purchase and to have that go into our CRM.  It eliminated a lot of extra steps for us.

Switched from using regfox to eventzilla and it's been so great. From the ability to offer payment plans, to the dynamic registration questions, we are so happy with all the features, the easy to use UI on the backend, and all the amazing features.

It's isn't as sophisticated on the technical end. Upgrades usually have issues and if you use their upload feature, you can't easily down load it.

Easy to manage orders, widgets, easy to understand and find menus, log in and get on without much support!

Webpage is great, if you choose to use it, embeds easy and straight forward, if you want to use your own domain no problem.

The agenda builder is not exportable, at all. You can export sessions if your event insists each registrant has to choose a particular session. For conferences, our registrants attend every session, so oddly, none of the agenda is exportable. 

Speakers you add to the agenda are not exportable. 

When we first joined we asked where the embedded widget for speakers was, and they didn't have one. We were pleasantly surprised they created one very quickly and emailed us back! Bravo!

No drag and drop schedule builder. This is a must for modern conference organisers.

We pass our fee's on to our registrants, but this is still not a cheap registration platform and we are considering leaving. If these fundemental features

**What do you like best about Eventzilla?**

Eventzilla streamlines everything smoothly and has wonderful customer service to fix issues that may arise. I have used the site for several years to allow for online registration for a co-parenting class. I have the attendees pay the minor processing fee (which is currently $1) and their payment goes directly to paypal. I can send reminders, move registrations to different dates, and cancel registrants. It has been easy to integrate into my online website and they have been accommodating in securing a short, easy URL for registrations.

**What do you dislike about Eventzilla?**

My program is a recurring feature so that has has difficulties in the past if the registration page is updated to allow for new features and my site is based on old information. Otherwise, I have no other complaints.

It is very easy to set up an account and create events. I had an issue setting up the payment portal but a quick call to Customer Support resolved it within minutes. It has a little bit of a learning curve, some of the menus are not naturally intuitive. But, once you figure them out once it is easy to use.

I found Eventzilla because we were using Eventbrite and during Covid they changed their policy about availability of funds. Eventzilla allows us to have access to funds immediately, which is what we needed to be able to fund the event.

**What do you like best about Eventzilla?**

Eventzilla has everything you could want in an event and ticketing software package. It's loaded with helpful features and offers benefits that their competitors don't. They've been around since at least 2015 and have a sustainable business model and history. If you're doing anything for paid events, Eventzilla is a solid choice. The features and functions they provide more than outweigh the per-ticket cost.

The amount you can do with it is extensive, including adding a widget to your website that allows people to buy while visiting. They create event pages for you on their site, and you can CNAME to that page using your DNS setup with whatever URL you want, for every event.

They also have helpful tech support. I ran into an issue with the payment processing using Stripe, and they responded in a few hours and worked through it with me

**What do you dislike about Eventzilla?**

They appear to be aimed toward high-ticket cost events. If you're starting with low-ticket events, there may be better options. But their free plans are great! So either go free or go big.

Eventzilla allows a solopreneur like me to set up an event online and sell tickets to my followers. They are the first event-ticketing software I've used where I succeeded in getting it online and making money.

The ability to invite small groups to events and track payments via check or credit card. I can include physical locations with directions, speakers, and list extensive event information. EventZilla does not send spam to my invitees. The description allows you to set up with HTML including graphics and layout. I have included programs and more.

There are some vagaries with reporting and some features only available with paid subscriptions or features.

Carefully evaluate payment processing options and costs; review reporting options and output.

I like that for paid events, Eventzilla simply takes a small portion of the ticket sales price. That pay-as-you-go payment structure is similar to many other online services we have that have worked well for our budgeting. The Eventzilla website is designed and organized in a straightforward way with simple explanations, pages and links. Managing our events is made easier with the concise tabs that take us straight to the area that needs attention. Though we don't always use all of the features is nice to know that we have the ability to use them.

**What do you dislike about Eventzilla?**

I would say that Eventzilla can be sort of confusing at first to set up for certain event, or if you're using it period for the first time. When we have run events without such digitized platforms in the past, knowing what parts to bring online and which to keep the traditional way takes lots of planning.

**Recommendations to others considering Eventzilla:**

Eventzilla is a super cloud-based system that can really makes things work more smoothly for event planning and management. I would recommend giving Eventzilla a shot and maybe just using a few basic features like online ticketing and attendance metrics to start.

Once we were able to get comfortable with the Eventzilla system, we were steadily able to automate many event registration and management processes that would normally take lots more effort and time to achieve. We are able to instantly view and compile attendance and sales information, which we can use for reports and to reconfigure marketing campaigns.

I put on a lot of FREE events and it has a lot of features that are free so I don't have to pay for free events. I also like the embed-able calendars.
It is easy to manage multiple events

Like most of these types of services, the credit card fees are pretty high.  I would like to see lower fees.
Sometimes creating like events is confusing.  I created a free event from a paid event and I couldnt make it free.

Check out all of the features and compare them to other platforms,  You'll be surprised.

It makes it easy to manage multiple events.  It also integrates with Wordpress easy so I am able to create wordpress announcements and have them register right from my blog.  I can embed a calendar to see all future events.  It is really seemless.

Good Free Options with robust features. Easy to use for Organizer and Attendees! Events have space for a lot of information, pictures and videos.  There are a lot of features we have not explored.  Paid version offer a lot of customization options.  They offer non-profit pricing as well.

Would like more integration with commonly used apps. Would like more integration with MailChimp. Would love integration With our point of sale system. Very, very expensive paid options: even for a non-profit organization. Probably not the right option for small business or small non-profit.

Pretty expensive paid options, even for a non-profit.  Not easy to use if you have multiple times and dates for the same event.  Good free options.

Time of scheduling events.  This has saved us 100s of hours.  It also makes our organization appear sophisticated and professional.

I like that Eventzilla charges lower fees than similar competitors. What we have enjoyed about it is the options and flexibility to customize the event set up.

**What do you dislike about Eventzilla?**

Eventzilla proclaims to be very user-friendly, but we actually lost money several months in a row because we did not know that they did not automatically transfer our earned money and if you do not transfer within a certain period of time, you lose the money you rightfully earn for your event. I feel the user experience behind the scenes is too complex with too many optional menus to the left sidebar. What we pay for Eventbrite, as our alternative, is worth the additional cost for a much more user-friendly and simplistic approach to event creation.

**Recommendations to others considering Eventzilla:**

Consider the ease of use for other platforms before switching due to price. Sometimes a few extra cents per registration is worth your time and frustration. And be sure to have your money earned switched over within a 30 day window of receiving from Eventzilla - they do not make you readily aware of this, and we lost money due to their "policy".

We have solved the issue of higher fees per transaction, which was helpful and necessary for our non-profit association chapter. The major benefit is the cost, but we would not necessarily recommend or use Eventzilla if other options were more or equally as affordable.

I like being able to manage event information online where the data can be conveniently stored, accessed and exported. It's great that we can add several users to manage the account to create different elements such as web registration forms, surveys and event landing pages. The overall Eventzilla interface and features are simple and straightforward to use by almost everyone that I work with that uses it. Eventzilla is a platform that can react in real time and allow us to monitor and respond to constantly changing metrics.

**What do you dislike about Eventzilla?**

The price that is derived from each ticket is a little on the hefty side. I would prefer that there was an all-inclusive rate that didn't generate fees based on tickets sales. I just feel that there are many software platforms that handle large loads of activity and charge a flat fee for a given period of time.

If you don't currently use an online event management solution, Eventzilla can make a huge difference in all of your event planning and management tasks. You'll be able to focus more on the events and less on time-consuming administrative duties.

We have benefited from Eventzilla's digital design and marketing tools that we can use to promote and manage events. We can leverage many of our communications platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, our website and email to promote our events with identical messaging. Somewhat difficult to customize the event experience if people need to sign up for multiple experiences at the same event.

I had three levels of membership for my event with different dates of availability, and it was very simple to set up and get the member list.  This was the main reason I chose Eventzilla.  I had used other event planning sites before and Eventzilla is by far the easiest and best for budgets.

**What do you dislike about Eventzilla?**

Nothing.  Truly, I was also able to choose whether I absorbed the fees or the attendees.  There are a lot of features I didn't need, but am excited that are available when that event rolls around next quarter. 
I am very intrigued with the reporting, API interface, and Social Media set up.
I was even able to set up an auto email to give the attendee the link to the online session.  
With rates and features like these - there is nothing to "dislike".

In my market, online is king.  Personal meet ups are expensive, and my market consists of moms at home or with full time jobs.
I wanted to give them a meaningful experience without that added expense and stress of traveling, child care, hotels, car rentals.  Here they could focus on the training and culture that we developed for our online JavaCon18 Convention.

I work for a not-for-profit organization and Thanks to the site I can post the free events and send invitations to other organizations for free. i love how simple it was to track how many people were attending and how easy it was to send them emails with reminders or notifications.

it was a little confusing at first to try to find out who was attending and how to get on the event menu to print name tags and or see the list of attendees. but once I figure it out the process was easier but not very simple or friendly for those people with little computer use experience

i do not think people will be disappointed if they try the site. I think it serves as a very good platform
