I appreciate that the functionality of providing my data in a straight forward fashion is not compromised (I prefer standard formats for reports) Data is laid out in a logical and compact format and does not compromise style over substance.

The flexibility of building my own docket triggers and forms is huge and being able to send reminder and completion e-mails and letter right from the platform (after being reminded by the reporting system), along with auto-docketing of new matters, take several matters out of my hands so I spend that time elsewhere.

Not really a dislike, but I would like to see more integrations (though the calendar does integrate with Outlook and Gmail) - the biggest one would be allowing for Zapier integrations to assist in syncing full contact data of clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DocketTrak allows users to create "AutoDockets" based on certain triggers that are programmable by the user. DocketTrak syncs with the Patent and Trademark Office (Patent and Trademark records/events) and allows the AutoDockets to trigger and create events. The auto-created events allow us to assign tasks to staff and keep work flow timely and efficient. One of the interesting things about DocketTrak is that it is highly customizable, if you want, yet it also is very effective in its simplest form. We have been using DocketTrak for years and it has helped our firm increase productivity and manage our patent portfolios very easily. The user-interface is basic, but it allows this platform to be utilized without any distractions or delays. Customer service and support are personalized and nearly instantaneous. There are occasional connectivity issues between the Patent and Trademark Office electronic systems and DocketTrak; however, these issues are usually remedied but re-connecting the syncing function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DocketTrak is very user-friendly and the connection with USPTO PAIR and automated events are very helpful. The cost of this docketing software was the first attraction. It is much more affordable than the other products I reviewed. Once I had committed to the software, I was delighted to find it very flexible and customisable. I can design my own docket templates for different countries, and update them easily.

Ease of use: it takes me five minutes to create a new record, at most. If the patent application is published in the US, I can pull data from the public record with a few clicks. Very helpful for automating as many steps as possible, and ensuring quality data.

I can attached my own documents, including PDFs and MS Word documents, to each record. There seems to be no limit to the number of documents I can attach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Certain kinds of characters such as % are not welcome in the text fields. The amount of data I can enter into the abstract or notes is limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DocketTrack is a reasonably priced, full functionality docketing software. DocketTrak is reliable, and I have never noticed any downtime. It is easy to use, flexible and integrates with the USPTO email notification system. I started using DocketTrak about a decade ago, and have since placed two of my clients on DocketTrak. You can't beat the price for a docketing system. While there is only minimal US country law, the auto docket templates are easy to build. It is nice that the system still scrapes Private PAIR and can pull information from Public PAIR. The system also quickly and efficiently creates US trademark records with complete information. It would be nice to be able to create better reports rather than views. The statuses are also a little granular. It would be nice to have the simple high level statuses like unfiled, pending, allowed, granted, expired and then the granular statuses as a secondary status. I started using Dockettrak a number of years ago as a trademark practitioner and it is one of the few business software programs that I've not regretted purchasing. Very easy to use, and it's now an indispensable part of my practice. And Monty is extremely responsive and helpful, always welcoming feedback. A truly wonderful find!
