Contentverse is a user-friendly Document Management Software for any size organization that is easy to learn and easy to use. The system is designed to operate in multiple network environments and integrate with your existing applications. Contentverse has a simple user interface that will be familiar to Windows users. Import documents in many ways they&#39;re already used to, including drag-and-drop. The workflow functionality lets users set up tasks and notifications, enabling automation of projects that would otherwise eat up considerable staff time. Easy to stay organized; easy to use; usually quite reliable

Finicky, can be slow to retrieve documents.  Lacks functionality / user friendliness at times; Microsoft compatibility issues;

make sure it is compatible with your other software / application versions

allows us to have an electronic data storage system; reduces the need to file paper copies of everything in my office and instead a separate paper system is mostly capable of being archived saving space

The ease of saving a file as a pdf and saving it electronically.

There is nothing I dislike about ContentVerse

Don't think twice . . . just use this program.

The major problem we solved is everyone is able to view documents that are saved.  The benefits are no more paper files.

I can easily index any file I am saving electronically.

I do not dislike anything at all with this program.

We no longer have paper files and save trees on a daily basis

I wish there was a way to click and drag pdf files from my desktop into content verse

  ### 6. Product works ok, but not thrilled with it

**What do you like best about Contentverse?**

We are able to keep everything in one place and have it much more organized that it was in our previous setup and everyone that needs access to files has it right at their fingertips instead of digging through paper files or other peoples personal directories on the server.

**What do you dislike about Contentverse?**

Buggy - when entering in a lot of files, it will suddenly decide not to let you type in any fields.  you have to close the program and reopen.  At least it is not totally frozen so you can save first.  But sometimes it will just freeze and there is then no way to save any changes you have just made.

The indexing just stops working every once in a while and you don't get any warning that it isn't working, you just figure it out when you search for something that you know is there and it doesn't find it.  It is easy to get it back up and running, but is a pain to have to do it at all.

It doesn't really do all the things it is advertised to do, at least not in a convenient way.

It doesn't support PDF forms properly

I haven't tried in the latest version, but last I checked you couldn't redact on PDFs, only jpgs

The workflow doesn't work at all how it was described to me during sales talks

We needed a way to organize all correspondence with our customers that would also allow us to insert our own notes into the files so that we could easily look at an entire conversation at once.  This also allowed us access to co-workers notes incase you had to take on a project while a coworker was gone.

We make upgrading your database painless by handling all of this for you. 

With regards to redactions, we have always clearly clarified that redactions are only possible on image files.

Company needs to be more assertive about its product specially in India .

**What do you like best about Contentverse?**

I like the customization of the fields, folders, and document tree. It allows for better control of personnel access and reduces the risk of other seeing a document that they are not permitted to see.  

**What do you dislike about Contentverse?**

It does have a quirky-ness to it that has never been fully explained. Sometime when working with large documents or adding files to large documents, the program freezes then crashes during the save feature. When reopened the pages are fully saved so their isn't a loss of data, but it is rather frustrating to have the program crash.

ContentVerse's support team is very helpful when fixing issues that pop up. 

**What problems is Contentverse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With ContentVerse we solve the issue of having documents readily accessible. By having all our documents scanned anyone can access the document they need without leaving their desk. The benefit of being able to pull multiple files from my personal workstation has cut down dramatically on research time and increased my ability to respond to client's requests.

**What do you like best about Contentverse?**

Due to open records requirements, we're required to keep a large volume of documents and work products for extensive periods of time (sometimes forever).  This helps us to manage this volume and make them easy to search. 

**What do you dislike about Contentverse?**

I feel like the learning curve is a little steep.  I'm not a power user and I feel a little overwhelmed sometimes when I go to use it.

**What problems is Contentverse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have to manage a large volume of archived documents.  When we started using Content Verse, we scanned 750,000 pages of documents and loaded them into CV.  We've continued scanning and importing other archived files.

**What do you like best about Contentverse?**

ContentVerse is not overly complex. In most cases users can get profient without much handholding.

**What do you dislike about Contentverse?**

The Floating panels are difficult to lock in and sometimes disappear.  I think a set of preset panel options would be better.

There is no way to rebuild the document repository if the database or files are corrupted.

**What problems is Contentverse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ContentVerse is our primary document repository.  It has cut down the amount of paper in the office and made it easier to lookup documents.

Like any Enterprise Solution provider, we strongly recommend Contentverse customers to schedule regular system backups, whether deployed on-premise or via cloud hosting. If you would like some assistance choosing a backup process that suits your document storage environment, our support team can help with this as well. It must be borne in mind that there are multiple components both Contentverse and platform related that must be taken into consideration when doing a system back up. These include the system platform and Net operating security schema, Contentverse Server, Web Server, Database(s), and storage locations. If carried out, then you would have no problem restoring any aspect that is lost and/or corrupted.

We could not find a more functional product.

Document availability; when a document is requested, the search engine is provided the information which searches through well over 1,000 files for a type of document / subject / specific wording (typed, written or index); the document can be printed / faxed / or exported and attached to an email; the document can have notes attached / red acted / saved numerous of times and you are still able to pull up a previous version of the file.

UI is buggy.  Windows sometimes get jumbled or hidden.  Unclear how to snap back to original layout.

Initial foray into paperless for processing, storing, and retrieving tax returns and associated documents

Simple to use for an end user. Similar to using Windows Explorer, which is easily adaptable.

Would like to see more technical documentation to support performance.

Be prepared to have staff and business practices in place. Implementations are relatively simple, but if you don't have proper governance on the front end, it will hinder your schedule and success.
