**What do you like best about CloudLex?**

We have been using Cloudlex for three years. Working with them, from migration of the information from our old database to Cloudlex’s, training for our staff, quick action from them when submitting a ticket for support, and overall ease of usage of the product is exceptional. I previewed several programs prior to choosing Cloudlex and chose them because it has every function I wanted, from reports, event calendaring, and workflows that send us a task on a daily basis. There are many programs out there, but Cloudlex does it all, from faxing, emails, integration of Word, and much more. We are very happy with our choice.

**What do you dislike about CloudLex?**

Lack of being able to customize a report

**What problems is CloudLex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking statutes, developing task emails on a daily basis, forming client list. As far as task emails, I type in a date on a workflow and I can forget about what task I need to do until I get a daily email reminding me of what I need to do.

**What do you like best about CloudLex?**

The best feature of CloudLex is being able to message clients. This makes my job easier since clients struggle with sending emails so being able to send them a quick text makes it easier for them to send photos. Then, I can easily transfer the photos into documents.

**What do you dislike about CloudLex?**

The only downside I could think of is not being able to share the insurance with matters that are apart of the case. It feels repetitive to put the same insurance in 3 different cases rather than having a button that shares it with all three like how you can share documents and notes.

**What problems is CloudLex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudLex solves major challenges related to disorganized case materials, manual workflows, and difficulty keeping teams aligned. By centralizing documents, deadlines, communication, and case updates in one system, it eliminates the chaos of searching through emails and spreadsheets. The platform streamlines personal-injury workflows so each phase of a case moves forward smoothly without extra oversight. It also improves collaboration, giving everyone real-time visibility into case progress and responsibilities. Automated reminders and deadline tracking reduce the risk of missed tasks or statutes. Overall, CloudLex makes organizing and managing cases far more efficient, accurate, and stress-free.

**What do you like best about CloudLex?**

CloudLex makes case management extremely efficient and organized. I like how everything from client intake to litigation documents and settlement tracking is all in one platform. It’s user-friendly, easy to navigate, and helps streamline communication between attorneys and paralegals. The built-in reminders make it easier to stay on top of filing deadlines and follow-ups.

**What do you dislike about CloudLex?**

One issue I’ve noticed is that the “Notes” section doesn’t autosave . If the page refreshes or times out while working between various files, all progress can be lost. This becomes frustrating when entering detailed case updates or notes for multiple matters at once. It would be extremely helpful if CloudLex added an autosave or draft-saving feature to prevent the loss of important information.

**What problems is CloudLex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudLex helps streamline our entire litigation workflow by keeping every case organized in one place. It eliminates the need to constantly search through physical files or shared drives. Tasks like generating pleadings, tracking case progress, managing client details, and uploading documents are all centralized, which saves a tremendous amount of time. It also helps ensure deadlines aren’t missed with its automated reminders and task-tracking features. Overall, it has improved team communication and made our case management process much more efficient and transparent.

I use CloudLex at work daily and love how the people above me can assign me tasks easily, which keeps my work organized. I really appreciate the organization and structure of the platform; it's great. The things I use work great and I had a pretty easy time with the initial setup.

I did struggle with task notifications at first until I found out how to turn on email notifications as well.

I really like the note-taking feature. It’s simple, organized, and makes it easy to keep track of case details and updates. The interface is intuitive, and I appreciate how quickly I can add or review notes during my workflow.

the main drawback is that notes are not auto-saved. If you accidentally close the window or lose connection, your work can be lost. Adding an auto-save function would make the experience much smoother and more reliable.

**What do you like best about CloudLex?**

My favorite things about CloudLex is that you can access all the documents for every client through the matters directory and that we can use our office number to text clients. The phone number makes it easier to get photos from them, since many clients struggle to send emails. In general, this saves me time when processing new clients.

**What do you dislike about CloudLex?**

One challenge I face with Cloudlex is having to enter the same insurance information separately for multiple clients. I really wish there were a way to link the insurance details when it’s the same case, as this would save me a lot of time.

**What problems is CloudLex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many of our clients are older and struggle to use technology, so it is extremely helpful when we have a phone number they can send images to. The messages are accessible and we can transfer data to their case rather easily. The phone number helps with communication and being efficent.

I appreciate how easy CloudLex is to use, as it is streamlined and self-explanatory, making my tasks more manageable without confusion. **What do you like best about CloudLex?**

One of the things I like about it the most is it is cloud-based and very easy to use. Anybody that has ever downloaded an app on their phone can use CloudLex. It's incredibly user-friendly. The training on CloudLex for a new employee takes about 30 minutes to an hour because it's  tailored for personal injury law. This is one of my favorite things about it.

**What do you dislike about CloudLex?**

Not much to dislike. We have been using CloudLex since they were pretty new, and here we are six years later still using the firm management software with no intention of ever moving.

**What problems is CloudLex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The reporting functionality in CloudLex helps me understand the metrics and cuts out a step from having to do that outside of your case management software. It makes it much easier as the owner or managing partner of the firm to be able to have an idea of how many intakes you're getting, which attorneys are getting the new cases, what stage are they in the litigation. There are just all kinds of things that you can easily gain from the reporting and analytics.

Quick access to critical data from anywhere (via the app) has been beneficial.  Also, quick reports on cases are very valuable.  Having the ability to see how many cases are active and who in our firm is working on them is valuable.  Also, communicating with our clients through the messaging app has been great.

**What do you dislike about CloudLex?**

Although it does not fully integrate with our Quickbooks, it does integrate well with the Quickbooks "Online Version"...I'm told there are some changes in the mix that will make it work well with the original Quickbooks.  So, while I may dislike something, I love how responsive CloudLex is at taking customer feedback and working towards real solutions that improve the overall product.

Cloud Lex is solving our inefficiencies.  Cloud Lex makes our firm work quicker, find data quicker, communicate with clients quicker and overall keeps us better organized.

**What do you like best about CloudLex?**

Cloudlex is built for the personal injury law firm. It allows you to put all of your client's case information, documents, events. medical records, photographs, emails, text messages, and contact information in one place. Cloudlex also is fully integrated with Dropbox, Microsoft Word & Outlook, and Google and works seamlessly with all of them, including their calendars. On top of all of the features, Cloudlex is totally in the Cloud and has Apps for the iPhone, iPad, and Android. Cloudlex is therefore totally accessible anywhere. Cloudlex also has a great intake section where you can keep track of all of your intakes including where they came from.

**What do you dislike about CloudLex?**

Nothing. Cloudlex recently started a help page with videos and instructions that should answer most questions.

**Recommendations to others considering CloudLex:**

Do a demo with a Cloudlex rep before making a final decision on any other Case Management Software.

**What problems is CloudLex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of my client's information is centrally located. Instead of going to different locations to find everything, it can all be found in their Cloudlex file.

Super reliable and very stable.  Never gets locked up and always quick and responsive.  I love  that I can access my files anywhere  in the world like I’m in the office.

Would like to have a little more control over certain input fields, other than that it’s perfect.

It’s a great product that delivers all you need to manage your personal injury law firm.

When the government shutdown occurred in New York City, I was able to continue my business uninterrupted.  My whole office ran without a glitch.  Most law firms couldn’t access their own files during the shutdown. Our client relations have improved greatly because were able to answer questions anytime, anywhere.

**What do you like best about CloudLex?**

The thing I like most about CloudLex is that it is secure and cloud-based, which allows me to work from anywhere there is a good internet connection. The platform lets you have an entire case (indeed your entire office) in one place and is accessible anytime, anywhere. Equally important is customer service, which has been great over the many years I have been a customer/user.

**What do you dislike about CloudLex?**

If CloudLex could have pre-populated tasks/events specific to Connecticut practice, a CRM tool, and an ability to have a secure cloud-based portal for creating and storing documents (other than in Cloudlex) it would be unbeatable.

I have used other case management services. CloudLex has been the best.

Able to function in a less paper environment and remotely.

Sounded great in the sales talk. If they could have delivered on their promises, it would have been excellent.

**What do you dislike about CloudLex?**

Very poor training/support. I inquired about integration and was blown smoke by sales about how smooth sailing that would be. But training was, 'look at our site. See what the buttons can do'; all things anyone can figure out. There was ZERO instruction or recommendation about how to integrate teh software into daily practice for staff or attorneys, a fatal flaw

**Recommendations to others considering CloudLex:**

Unless you have an employee dedicated to doing the job of pounding into the software and translating it into your firm's daily routine, it is more for looks than the tool it was purported to be

Very user friendly.  Easier to use than other legal programs and has more organizational qualities.  Very easy to set up tasks.

Not knowing its full potential.  It would be nice if the company provided an on-line learning webinar.

We are able to set up tickler points in order to stay on track.  We never lose sight of when the statue of limitations expire.

**What do you like best about CloudLex?**

The system has made document management simple. Adding files takes seconds. We are able to access our case management system and documents from anywhere. The price is far less expensive than the competitors and the application is constantly being updated with new features. 

They have also incorporated our suggestions, and I am sure those of other users, making it a truly unique product.

The billing department is also great. They allow you to make the payments in several installments for the annual fee which relieves a big burden.

A downside is that you must use a browser to access the program from an iPad. I would love an application for the iPad that does not require using a browser. Presently we have to use the browser to access the actual documents on that device. 

Another downside is the Notes Section.  While it is pretty good/robust, I would also like the capability to create labels in the notes section as we can in the Documents. Also with the notes, when copying and pasting from a word document directly to the notes, it can create a formatting issue where the paragraphs have a line spacing that can be annoying and can't be changed. You also need to be very careful to not delete notes by accident as they can't be retrieved. An "undo" capability would be ideal.

Lastly, while I can live with it, I would prefer to not have to download each document to work on it. I would prefer to be able to work in the file directly.

**What problems is CloudLex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved several issues, including access from anywhere with an internet connection and remote working during COVID. 

CloudLex also made working from home during COVID seamless for us and our staff. This was critical as it would have been impossible for us to bring home all of the paper files, and it would have prevented 2 people from working on the same file if we only had the hard copies. 

It also allowed us to access anything in our file while in court (when we were able to go to court). This allowed us to respond to anything unexpected a defense attorney could raise.

Another solution is it has allowed us to reduce our paper use for the marked-up copies of files and has allowed us to reduce our hard opy files after we close out a case.

We researched and compared a number of law practice management platforms over several months before choosing Cloudlex.  We found it to be best suited to the needs of our small but busy practice. I strongly encourage anyone shopping for case management programs to give Cloudlex a try before committing to another service.  We have found them to be a cut above similar companies in terms of the platform itself (i.e. has all the tools and more for litigators and is user friendly even for a techno dunce like me), customer service and pricing.

Cloudlex is easy to navigate allows you track the progress of your client's case while also keeping an eye on the firm's expenses on the case.

**What do you dislike about CloudLex?**

Cloudlex backs up seamlessly to the cloud. That's an excellent feature. The only downside is that a folder for the client is not created until you upload a document to a specific folder category. I would like to see Cloudlex allow firms to use their own categories for folders and, have those folders automatically generate in the cloud folder when a new matter is opened. Every firm organizes folders differently and if CL offered this feature, it would allow less disruption to a firm's file system on their client drive.

**What problems is CloudLex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CL allows everyone in the firm to be on the same page regarding the status of a client matter. This allows case status information to be easily communicated to the client anytime they call in.

I would like to be able to create titles for drop-down menus for events which occur frequently in my life.  I would like to schedule "lunch" or "CLE" or "zoom call."  Right now, I am limited to "other" and then later typing in the description.

I don't use the cloudlex nearly enough.  I never look at my dynamic statistics.  I seldom upload documents.  I rarely use it to go over the whole master case list to see what needs doing.  I use the calendar function daily, and often use the address function, although sometimes I just put phone numbers in my cell phone instead.

I find the sidebar where you can look at the “Notes” entered on your cases very helpful.  My favorite part of Cloudlex is that everything works as intended and every click takes you right where you need to be.  There is also very little downtime with their updates and they do it outside of peak hours, as to be considerate to our busy worlds.

It's also incredibly useful assessing the health of the firm - how many cases are coming, how many clients in house or referred out. I couldn't imagine working without it now that I'm used to it. It's also has a very easy learning curve - my 1- year old daughter was able to do a lot of the heavy lifting migrating the data from paper and Outloook.

The best thing about Cloudlex is its design specifically for my practice area, personal injury. It has all of the data points I need to keep tabs on everything going on at my firm. It also has an intuitive user interface and great customer support. Also, the reporting features are far and above many other case management applications I have tried.

I would like to see more integration with other apps, but overall it has not been a huge problem for us at my firm.
