For video hosting services, the server has 99.99 uptime, and I haven’t had any complaints from my clients. They straight up just decided to end ALL lifetime licenses bought without the opportunity to recover the money invested with exception to those purchased I think since May of 2025. Now Adilo is becoming unreliable and is terminating the Lifetime contract with a 4-week notice due to the risk that Adilo might become unprofitable and have to give up, forcing a switch to one of their monthly programs or deletion of all videos on the platform! At the same time, Vimeo is increasing the storage space from 250 GB to 2 TB for free... so I'm moving my videos back to a reliable provider. **What do you dislike about Adilo?** WARNING | DANGER Unreliable provider that does not honor its contract with lifetime customers but instead cancels it at short notice and wants to force them into a subscription. Lifetime means usage as long as the product exists, ADILO forcibly stops the use of the lifetime account for users and wants to force account holders to sign up for a running subscription. If no subscription is taken out, Adilo closes the account and deletes the stored content. **What problems is Adilo solving and how is that benefiting you?** The functions in Adilo are extensive - unless they are taken away by the termination of the lifetime contract. No solution from ADILO. On the contrary, it puts the user who relies on seriousness in a problematic situation. ### 6. Adilo decided to update their terms for all plan holders, including the people who believed in them first and got them to a point where they became a player. Lifetime deal holders, like me, paid hundreds (and into the thousands) for lifetime solutions promised. Now, the people at BigCommand behind Adilo and 4KPlayer updated their Terms of Service WITHOUT notifying existing customers and stating that all lifetime deal accounts ARE NO LONGER SUPPORTED. They are requiring people, like me, to pay the same monthly fee that new customers would pay (completely ignoring the fact that they wouldn't exist without the support of hundreds of lifetime deal buyers who paid 10x more than most lifetime deals for software). Instead of actually marketing their product to new customers or improving the product, they bait and switch on people who've already paid them. Contracts don't exist with these people. Terms are changeable without notice, which is illegal. AppSumo is not stepping in, so this company should be avoided at all costs. **What do you dislike about Adilo?** Just be more human and honor the people who helped you grow. **Recommendations to others considering Adilo:** Repeating myself here: Adilo allows filmmakers to showcase their content and grow their following, experts and course creators to protect and share their teachings as if it was an in-person experience, and entertainers to proudly organize and continue doing what they love. I have seriously hunted for a video deal this good and haven't found one. **What problems is Adilo solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have a video creation, distribution, and marketing platform where I own my content vs. YouTube strategy. I can now use, sell, and showcase my work or my client's work inside of courses, on websites, in emails, and anywhere in between. It's also a more affordable option for me as a lifetime user vs. something like Vimeo or Wistia. ### 7. At first, it almost seemed like a scam due to the incredible difficulty in finding a reasonably-priced platform. In China, we can't use Google, YouTube or Vimeo.... when I thought there would be no platform to come to my rescue, Here came Adillo!. So far the experience has been excellent. I have uploaded some gigantic videos and seen it do so at pretty fast speeds. I haven't encountered any difficulties in embedding the content into any platform. In my review, I mentioned how the platform surprised me with features I didn't even know I needed. I used to believe that hosting videos online was simply about uploading them and letting others watch them. But these guys brought the control we can have over the experience others have when watching to a level I never knew was possible. I won't go over all the functions because there are too many to count, so I suggest you check their website out. but for now, i am happy. ### 13. All of this happened in first 21 days, i stopped using the software altogether, and requested a refund. They refused to give me a refund; they refused to acknowledge the Uniform Commercial Code/FTC regulations (basically all commerce laws). In the agreement it does not state that "acceptance or use of their software is acknowledgement and consent to forfeit my right to a refund within 30 days as granted by consumer/commercial law. Customer service is as important as functionality/performance of software. In both of these areas they have failed and i chose to end my relationship with them at that point and not wait for corrections to be made - this is my choice. Their decision to refuse issuing me a refund is not only denying my commercial rights, it is an outright act of denying my right to choose as a human being. ### 18. This also happened with other video request tool like SocialJuice so I think it's not Adilo's fault. But yeah, I hope it worked here. It works when I use VPN though. Moreover, I find the Adilo tool much easier to access than Vimeo. The platform is well organized and intuitive, which allowed me to quickly find all the features I needed. I was lucky enough to get a Lifetime license from them so my only costs would be if I need to purchase more storage or bandwidth, but the offer I got for purchasing the Lifetime license right now is more than enough to suit my needs. They also have EXCELLENT customer service. I usually receive a reply within minutes after I contact them. **What do you dislike about Adilo?** They have a 15 gb limit on uploading files. This creates an issue for me if my HD 1920x1080 files are longer than three hours in length. Initially there were network error issues when I tried to upload a file larger than 10 gb but they got that resolved quickly. Also, as of this writing, their integration with Google Drive and Dropbox is flaky at best. Not sure yet if importing files from there would allow for files larger than 15 gb because I haven't been able to get that function to work properly, but I have been assured that they are working on resolving it as I write this review. **What problems is Adilo solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Vimeo to host and stream my video files through third party scheduling software and I was exceeding my bandwidth with them each month. Should you need more bandwidth from them, they insist on a yearly subscription and at pricing that was way over my budget, making them totally unaffordable. I was not over my allotment that much, yet they had a minimum that needed to be purchased yearly. A friend suggested Adilo as a video hosting alternative and I was amazed at the difference in pricing and in my case, the need for additional storage and bandwidth with my Lifetime license was more than affordable - it was literally a fraction of the cost that Vimeo wanted to charge me, so this was a no-brainer. I moved 30% of my files from Vimeo to Adilo and that solved my problem immediately. With my Lifetime license, I am actually in a better financial position to continue now than I was before I exceeded my allotment at Vimeo! ### 28.
