Not worth the money. The credits automatically reset to zero once you cancel your subscription. The support team is unresponsive, and they introduce new features without proper testing, which ends up consuming your credits without delivering the desired results. OLD REVIEW: I love the number of features I get for video and audio hosting. Videos can be embedded on my site or emails, or I can create a landing page for a project full of videos. I can host videos without advertising, or add a personal CTA. I also love that I can whitelabel the video content (with a high enough plan) and customize the player. A couple features I was surprised to find include GIF creations and bubble videos.

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2024: As fas as I can tell there have been zero updates or feature improvements since purchasing Vadoo.tv. The only emails I receive are to purchase something new or a related product. When I asked for updates I get a general response from the owner. I wanted some level of verification that the product was being developed and supported and cannot find anything.

I switched all my hosting to Adilo since then and have had a much better experience there.

OLD: In the help section, I would like to see more than a simple description. It would be helpful to have more information about CNAME set up, for example.

I know there are other features that would be beneficial, that are not available yet. BUT, this company continually enhances their roadmap for updates and they've already shown they can complete requested features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Pros:

Video Bubble- as I think this is a valuable feature for personal connections and brand building

CTAs on video- Great for making fast conversions and less friction

Video Chapters- This gives the user the option to go where they want and get more value

Audio Hosting- An often overlooked value by most reviewers. This feature is almost impossible to find with other services and super valuable as audio is just as popular as video in my market

Fast CDN- Almost every review mentioned this, so this is clearly critical for site speed and user experience

HD- Hence why I bought Tier 3

Video Security- With membership sites and courses, it is a great option to limit downloads

On Screen Recording- have not tried- see many complaints but also Vadoo has diligently worked to correct as indicated by their Chrome Updates and responses to this complaint

Customer Service- Again, most deals have a major complaint about customer service, Vadootv has almost zero complaints in this area. Tells me the company cares and has long term survival plans as well as the desire to grow to be as their motto states

Unlimted Videos- Not sure how this works but seems to be the draw for most so I am in

Roadmap- Reading the roadmap is exciting. Most deals sell us the product and then abandon the sumolings before the deal ends. VadooTv is giving more everyday joyfully and without complaints.

The Founders- Companies are only as good as their leaders. The founders are clearly professional, committed, determined and very focused on giving value, expanding their offerings and building their brand. They have been funded by VC and have mentors working with them to ensure their stability and growth. As a LTD- this is critical as most SAAS will not survive. Competition is high, and the cost of entry is low. The real cost is growing beyond the initial idea into something sustainable and truly exceptional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Playback speed, and ability to apply colors to a project all at once. Collaboration, domain controls, marketing, video pages, and playlists are other notable features that I love.

The player can be readily customized in a variety of ways. It's definitely better than Vimeo. Definitely, it's one of the best tools that I would recommend to other Video Editors too. It's the best tool I'd recommend to Video Editors to use this tool.

For now, I'm not having any problems with Vadoo. I think, the developers need to work on subtitles. Also, they should consider increasing the number of projects and users to use this great Video Tool.

I have been looking for ad free video hosting site and looking at the price of vimeo, wistia and other tools I was looking for some alternative that dosen't burn my pocket. After buying vadootv player I found the feature and integrations are the same as other video hosting sites, but it is affordable, especially for a small business like mine. I bought Vadoo when I wanted a Vimeo replacement without the price tag. Vadoo was a great replacement, and although the user UI is somewhat lacking and seem a little haphazard.

I love that I can customize my own player to exactly how I want it, as well as my landing page.

Timed call-to-action buttons are also available, as well as lead capture, chapter navigation and markers. I like how the player bar doesn't distract from the actual video, sometimes video software startups make the bar too thick.

I've been very surprised by the recent reviews about CS and the blocking of videos without warning. I can say though, they are no longer active in their Facebook group which once was a vibrant community.

I wish they paid more attention to aesthetics and UI, things are a little rudimentary and not that intuitive.

I also wish that the presets for the videos could be put in a more obvious spot, it's hard to get to and I had to search all over before clicking on my Profile -> Settings and then Presets.

I would like to warn you about this company. They are the creators of Vaadoo.tv and Uuki.live. I had a lifetime subscription with Vaadoo with unlimited videos and a storage of 3000 GB. If, like me, you have posted 76 videos, with a usage of 18/3000 GB and look at my visitor statistics of the websites where they are published, then I already have a suspension because the total of the 76 videos has been viewed max 600 times. You can understand that I had a lot of work to put every video on a different platform because visitors got the message: You have crossed the fair usage bandwidth limit on Vadootv. Reach out to support on https://vadoo.tv to upgrade to a custom plan. In their own system I can't see how much a video has been viewed. When I then ask to indicate which video it is, I also get no response.

Just the work to get all my videos (and those of my clients) back online through another channel, because they can't give me a correct answer and block all videos with a message. The hosting service worked well until they tried to force to upgrade without justification and then blocked all our videos without notice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They tried to charge us after we bought their lifetime deal, saying that we surpassed the fair usage for unlimited bandwidth and needed to upgrade.

According to their T&C, lack of fair usage would be for users that are above the 99% bandwidth consumption. For reference, we do 160 views per day, each of a couple of mins, so I was very surprised and I asked for evidence of that.

They did not provide any information on the bandwidth. Instead, after our request they blocked all the videos on our account without notice. The videos (used for premium content for which customers pay) stopped to load and we started to get complaints and requests for refunds from customers. We had to immediately move to a different solution. I requested again an explanation which they refused to provide (it’s now 14+ days since we contacted them).

At this point, I believe they are trying to get rid of lifetime deal customers with unproven claims.
