  ### 1. Easy Tenant Management, Useful Reports, and Great 6Storage Support.

**What do you like best about 6Storage?**

The ease of use in moving tenants in and out.  The search engine in the title bar works great. Most of the reports are useful from the email log to the daily payment report. The overall performance is good. The pricing of 6S is reasonable when you take into consideration the software benefits when you compare it with other S/W. I have always had great support for the 6Storage team when I have had issues or questions. We have not integrated with our website because we are redoing it. We are still on V2 but will be moving to V3 shortly so we will be looking to integrate at that time.

**What do you dislike about 6Storage?**

This is based on V2. In V1 we were able to merge stalls on one invoice. In our case it is a big deal because many of our tenants have multiple stalls. Some have over 4 so when you have that many it is, in my opinion, unprofessional sending out multiple invoices and receipts. The other feature removed going from V1 to V2 was the ability for the S/W to keep track of over payment. If someone owes us 75.50 and the send $80, the remainder is not kept track of. Those were two of the biggest selling point for us when we first decided to go with 6Storage. Some customers e-transfer funds to us. Some will round the amount so for example they owe us $75.50. They will send $75. That leaves .50 not paid so the reminder reports will go out to the customer. It would be nice if there was under tolerance built into the S/W, controlled by management, so that reminders would not go out if the tenants owes under a predefined amount. It unprofessional to send out a reminder for 50 cents, in my view. More reports on marketing would be nice. We put all this information into the database. It would be nice to get it out.  We will see what V3 brings!!

**What problems is 6Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

6Storage was our second S/W. The first was very expensive and we were a new startup. So the cost of 6Storage at the time was a huge factor. Also, every time we need help with problems or guidance, the first company would charge us. They had allot more features but we found for the day to day operating 6Storage was good.

**What do you like best about 6Storage?**

I like that with 6Storage, we can view our operations individually per facility or combined for a holistic view, which is really useful since we have two separate facilities under different names. It's also great that we can have both facilities under one website rather than needing a separate website for each facility. I appreciate the user interface of their software and the ability to access it from anywhere with an internet connection, which means we don't have to be on site to assist our customers. 6Storage has everything we need plus additional helpful features without overcrowding the software with unnecessary tools. The initial setup was fairly straightforward and easy, mostly involving pulling and plugging tenant spreadsheets.

**What do you dislike about 6Storage?**

I wish the customer experience was more mobile friendly. We have heard feedback from our tenants about having difficulties accessing their portal from their phones. The website could be improved upon from a customer interface perspective.

**What problems is 6Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

6Storage allows us to view individual and combined operations for our facilities, centralizing them under one website. It's accessible from anywhere with internet, enabling remote customer assistance, and the user interface includes needed features without unnecessary clutter.

**What do you like best about 6Storage?**

I like how customers can move themselves in from my website using 6Storage's plugins. It handles the whole move-in process, which means I don't have to talk to them at all, saving me time. I also like the software from the admin side for managing units, viewing reports, and handling billing.

**What do you dislike about 6Storage?**

The communication tracking could be improved. It would be nice if the customer portal had a page that showed all the communications from 6Storage. On the admin side, I would like to see delivery and read receipts that log the IP address and hashes, to verify that customers read my emails.

**What problems is 6Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 6Storage to manage my self-storage business efficiently, tracking customers, communications, and move-ins and outs. It handles billing and enables customer self-service move-ins from my website. This saves me time and simplifies processes.

**What do you like best about 6Storage?**

I like that 6Storage is based in St. Louis. It's great because the support team is very responsive, and the software is easy to use. Managing my storage facilities and website with it is efficient since it allows for handling multiple locations under the same account. It's also convenient for our customers to rent and pay online. Plus, they keep things fresh by testing and releasing new features often. When we needed some features that weren't available, they were usually introduced within a few weeks. The setup was very easy, as they guide you through the entire process. Also, using it with DaVinci Locks and our payment processor works well together.

**What do you dislike about 6Storage?**

Email support is faster than phone support but they are very helpful when I need help.

**What problems is 6Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

6Storage makes it easy to manage multiple locations under the same account and simplifies renting and payment processes for customers online.

**What do you like best about 6Storage?**

It’s easy to use and effective for managing our clients’ needs. It integrates well with our gate and runs quickly with solid performance. The price is fair for what it offers, and support is responsive. I haven’t used the AI yet.

**What do you dislike about 6Storage?**

I sometimes run into sync issues with Stripe, and the WordPress plugin still leaves something to be desired. That said, they’re working on v3 now, so hopefully we’ll see some improvement and growth there.

It helps with gate management, taking client payments, and automating a lot of the work involved in managing the facility.

6Storage is a user-friendly software that’s easy to use and straightforward to navigate.

**What do you dislike about 6Storage?**

The main downside of using 6Storage is probably that their range of integrations is not very broad, especially for operators based outside the U.S.

We have been using V2 and have experienced issues with slowness, bugs, and other challenges along the way. However, their team has always been quick to respond and helpful in resolving the issues.

Automation, automation, automation.

I appreciate the ability to take payments anywhere and close the day from any location with 6Storage.

**What do you dislike about 6Storage?**

I don't have the freedom to edit my customers like I could with my last software program. Customer service isn't the greatest. I don't get the reports I would like to have. I like things simplified, for example, at end of month I would like to pull up a move-in move-out report with specific details.

**What problems is 6Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use 6Storage to take payments and close the day anywhere. However, I struggle with getting simplified reports and the inability to edit my customers like with my last software. I keep my old software for reports.

The fact that it is web based and secure over the internet.  But the software has many, many bugs and really needs to be in bata or development mode.

**What do you dislike about 6Storage?**

Bugs, bugs and more bugs.   The system is constantly not doing what it should. Sends out late notices to good paying tenants who pay on time or early and it makes us the owners look bad.

**What problems is 6Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

6 Storage is not actively addressing any of our problems. Tenants should be able to pay early without any issues, but the system doesn’t handle that well. Tenants should also be able to pay part of their bill or the full amount without problems, and 6 Storage doesn’t support this smoothly at all.

I really like the ease of use of 6Storage. It's easy to find customers and look up their accounts, which makes managing my 13 storage facilities more efficient. The initial setup was very easy, and once we got it installed, we only needed to start using it. Also, when I have an issue, their support is prompt in getting back to me.

**What do you dislike about 6Storage?**

Sometimes there are categories that do not work or don't allow to make a custom invoice, and that is frustrating. But I can email them, and they normally work it out for me.

6Storage makes it easy to find customers and look up their accounts promptly.

6Storage has and continues to add an incredible amount of customization options to fit my operational needs. It is very user friendly and I find it easy to train my employees on. I feel like I'm getting the most bang for my buck compared to demos I did with other companies. Support is also super fast to respond.

Kind of a double-edged sword, but the development is happening so fast that sometimes it's hard to keep up with the new features and settings.

I have automated many tasks using 6Storage. As mentioned previously, the customizations give me a lot of flexibility to set up or schedule things I would have previously done manually. It's overall saving me time and money.

It's just an easy way of keeping track of contracts and payments if you operate a self-storage business. The site map is also quite useful.

If it were possible to automatically create invoices for each month, and then upload a file with payments, that would be extremely helpful. It would save a lot of time.

It helps me keep track of contracts, create invoices for rental periods, and keep track of payments.

I like the ability for future customers to rent online and for all customers to pay online.

There's a lot of technical information to learn which I didn't realize we would need to do on our end prior to setup, and that can be intimidating for someone without in-depth computer skills or knowledge.

I use 6Storage for online management of storage building rentals, solving time management issues. I like that it allows future customers to rent and all customers to pay online.
