What do you dislike about 3G/4G/5G HLR/HSS/UDM/AUSF?

What I dislike is that HLR is too rigid for modern networks, HSS can be heavy and complex, and in 5G, UDM and AUSF are very powerful but still tricky to integrate and a bit specialized Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

HLR solved the problem of managing subscriber info and mobility in 3G, making calls and roaming reliable. HSS improved 4G by handling IP services and authentication, so I can enjoy smooth data and VoLTE.
