I was looking for affordable separate hosting for a discounts site. I was not sure that idea would work at all and needed something I could afford to lose money for (yes, the idea did not work!) I found IONOS WordPress hosting and was able to set up a separate site for under $20. The hosting is very reliable, and plugins are updated automatically. Besides, the site works reasonably fast. I was able to set up the purchased theme without problems. Another thing that I really liked is that when I needed to wipe out the site several times, this process also went fast and easy with IONOS. Also, WooCommerce came free with the package, which is a real bonus. In fact, the whole process felt like an upsell to get me to transfer my domain names to 1&1.
