ControlUp è prezzato per sessione (VDI) o macchina (endpoint fisici, server) e può monitorare e ottimizzare una vasta gamma di risorse/oggetti nei datacenter virtuali e/o fisici.
ControlUp conta continuamente il numero totale di oggetti che sono attualmente monitorati e richiede un numero di licenze che copra adeguatamente la dimensione dell'ambiente.
VM/Computer gestiti con agente – Questi sono VM e/o computer in cui è in esecuzione un agente ControlUp.
-Server XenApp/TS/RDSH – Il numero di sessioni concorrenti di picco che sono in esecuzione sui
server XenApp/TS/RDSH.
-Postazioni di lavoro / VDI – 1 licenza per workstation Windows, virtuale o fisica (che ci sia o meno
una sessione utente su quella VM/Computer).
-Altri server Windows – 1 licenza per sistema operativo server Windows, virtuale o fisico.
VM/istanze cloud gestite senza agente – Questi sono VM e/o istanze cloud che sono monitorate tramite l'API dell'hypervisor e/o l'API del Broker XenDesktop e/o l'API di connessione cloud senza che un agente ControlUp sia in esecuzione su quella VM / istanza cloud.
-VM gestita senza agente (Windows o Linux) – 1 licenza per VM gestita senza agente accesa.
-Istanze cloud (Windows o Linux) – 1 licenza per istanza cloud in esecuzione.
Apparecchiature Netscaler – 1 licenza per dispositivo per apparecchiatura gestita (Nota che le licenze per apparecchiature Netscaler sono separate dalle VM gestite con agente e dalle VM gestite senza agente)
Ad esempio, se stai monitorando una farm XenApp su cui sono attualmente in esecuzione 800 sessioni utente e in aggiunta monitori 300 workstation VDI e 400 VM oltre a 5 apparecchiature Netscaler, avrai bisogno di un totale di 1500 oggetti licenziati (800 + 300 + 400) più 5 licenze per apparecchiature Netscaler.

ControlUp is priced by session (VDI) or machine (Physical endpoints, servers) and can monitor and optimize a wide variety of resources/objects in the virtual and/or physical datacenters.
ControlUp continuously counts the total number of objects that are currently being monitored, and requires a number of licenses that adequately cover the size of the environment.
Agent based Managed VMs/Computers – These are VMs and/or computers in which a ControlUp agent is running.
-XenApp/TS/RDSH Servers – The number of peak concurrent sessions that are running on
the XenApp/TS/RDSH servers.
-Workstations / VDI – 1 license per windows workstation, virtual or physical (whether there
is a user session or not on that VM/Computer).
-Other Windows Servers – 1 license per windows server OS, virtual or physical.
Agentless Managed VMs/cloud instances – These are VMs and/or cloud instances that are monitored via the hypervisor API and/or XenDesktop Broker API and/or cloud connection API with no ControlUp agent running on that VM / Cloud instance.
-Agentless Managed VM (Windows or Linux) – 1 license per powered on agentless managed
VM.
-Cloud Instances (Windows or Linux) – 1 license per running cloud instance.
Netscaler Appliances – 1 device license per managed appliance (Note that Netscaler appliances licenses are separate from the agent based managed VMs and the agentless managed VMs)
For example, if you are monitoring a XenApp farm on which 800 user sessions are currently running and in addition you monitor 300 VDI workstations and 400 VMs as well as 5 Netscaler appliances you will need a total license of 1500 licensed objects (800 + 300 + 400) plus 5 Netscaler appliances licenses.
