Blender is free and is compatible with all industry standards in the video game industry as well as animation and film. I use it as a full stack game developer for 3D modeling, rigging, 2D animation, 3D animation, and more. It is relatively easy to use once you implement the hotkeys and learn where everything is it integrates easily into any pipeline workflow.
