# What's the best Channel Management platform for synchronizing bookings and calendars across multiple vacation rental sites?

I'm researching Channel Management platforms specifically for keeping bookings and calendars in sync across multiple vacation rental sites like Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com.
The peak-period question is really a latency question. Every double booking lives in the window between a booking landing on one channel and the calendar update reaching the others, a window that's invisible at normal volume and widest exactly when demand spikes. So two vendor questions matter more than the feature grid: how long propagation takes under load, not on average, and what happens when two channels book the same night inside that window anyway, meaning who wins, who gets cancelled, and who handles the guest. The second answer tells you whether the vendor has actually thought about their failure mode.
