One thing I’ve noticed is that many platforms handle compensation planning well at a high level, but the friction shows up in day-to-day use once teams scale. We went through this exercise recently. For us, the difference came down to whether the system stayed usable when commission structures got complicated. We ended up using Visdum for comp management because it didn’t become harder to manage as plans evolved, which was a big concern.
