ArcadeDB

ArcadeDB is an open-source, multi-model database for teams that want one fast, dependable operational database instead of a stack of specialised engines. A single ACID-compliant engine stores graphs, JSON documents, key/value pairs, time series and vector embeddings, with full-text search built in, so a knowledge graph, a product catalog, a cache and a semantic search index can live in the same transactional database. Every model is native to the engine, so there is no translation layer slowing queries down. You can query ArcadeDB with SQL, Cypher (OpenCypher), Gremlin, GraphQL, MongoDB queries or Redis commands, and connect with existing PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis wire-protocol drivers, Bolt, HTTP/JSON, or the Java API. This makes it a practical choice for knowledge graphs, GraphRAG and AI agent memory, fraud detection, recommendations, identity and access graphs, and IoT telemetry. ArcadeDB is built for performance and a low memory footprint. On the public LDBC Graphalytics and LSQB benchmark suites, run by ArcadeDB on identical hardware, it is among the fastest engines tested, and the scripts to reproduce the results are open source. Run ArcadeDB embedded inside a Java application, or as a server on Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, macOS or Windows. Production features include high availability with automatic failover, Write-Ahead Log crash recovery, backups, security and users, and the ArcadeDB Studio web console for querying and visualising data. Integrations include LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, Cognee, an MCP server for AI agents, Grafana, Prometheus and OpenTelemetry, and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Metabase and Superset over the PostgreSQL protocol. ArcadeDB is Apache 2.0 licensed, free forever, with no contributor license agreement and no separate enterprise edition: every feature is in the free build. Arcade Data, the company behind ArcadeDB, offers optional Silver, Gold and Platinum support subscriptions with guaranteed response times for production deployments.
