[Which AI chatbot solution works best for 24/7 support?](/discussions/which-ai-chatbot-solution-works-best-for-24-7-support)

I’m looking for AI chatbot applications that can handle around-the-clock customer support without needing constant human oversight. Responsiveness, accuracy, and smooth escalation to live agents are key. Here are a few on my radar:

- [ChatGPT](https://www.g2.com/products/chatgpt/reviews): Strong conversational ability, but is it consistent enough for 24/7 support at scale?
- [Gemini](https://www.g2.com/products/google-gemini/reviews): Google’s AI with advanced NLP. How reliable is it for nonstop, high-volume queries?
- [Podium](https://www.g2.com/products/podium/reviews): Great for messaging and reviews, but can it also deliver continuous support experiences?
- [Voiceflow](https://www.g2.com/products/voiceflow/reviews): Flexible for designing chat or voice bots. Is it practical for customer-facing support teams running 24/7?

For those who’ve used these platforms:

- Did they actually reduce the number of tickets that needed human intervention?
- How well do they handle handoffs to live agents outside normal working hours?
- Were customers satisfied with the experience, or did they find the automation frustrating?

I’d like to hear from the G2 community, which solution has been the most reliable for true 24/7 support, and would you recommend it to others?

While digging into 24/7 support, I also found this list of the [best help desk software](https://learn.g2.com/best-help-desk-software). Curious if anyone here has paired their AI chatbot with a help desk platform. Did it make round-the-clock support smoother?

Hi, I run 24/7 support for a mid-size SaaS product (approximately 20k monthly tickets), and we tested these tools in production. 1. ChatGPT:We connected it to our help center (1,000+ articles). It reduced tickets by approximately 30%. Strong conversational quality, but we had to restrict it to verified knowledge to avoid inconsistent answers. Escalation works well if you build proper routing to your helpdesk. After tuning, CSAT improved for after-hours support. 2. Gemini: Good contextual understanding, handled structured FAQ queries well (approximately 25% automation). However, tone consistency varied without heavy prompt control. It’s better as an AI layer than a complete support system. Escalation requires external workflow setup. 3. Podium: It was great for SMS and messaging workflows. Automation impact was lower (approximately 10–15%). Smooth handoffs to agents, but it’s more of a messaging platform than a deep AI resolution engine. Works well for quick responses and less so for complex issues. Voiceflow: We automated approximately 40% of repetitive flows (refunds, onboarding, account changes). Since it’s structured, responses are stable. It struggles with unexpected queries unless paired with an LLM. Escalation integration is straightforward. I also came across MirrorFly. We tested the MirrorFly AI chatbot for 24/7 support use cases, and it handled in-app messaging and live chat escalation reliably. It gave us real-time control, stable performance during off-hours, and flexible deployment options for continuous support. Check the G2 reviews: www.g2.com/products/mirrorfly/reviews If you want more details, let you see: https://www.mirrorfly.com/blog/best-white-label-ai-chatbots/ Hope it helps.

[Which AI chatbot software has the best analytics?](/discussions/which-ai-chatbot-software-has-the-best-analytics)

I’m evaluating [**AI chatbot tools**](https://www.g2.com/categories/ai-chatbots) with strong analytics capabilities. Beyond automating conversations, the real value comes from understanding how those interactions perform, whether that’s tracking engagement, identifying drop-off points, or measuring the impact on customer experience and sales outcomes. Here are a few platforms I’ve come across:

- [**ChatGPT**](https://www.g2.com/products/chatgpt/reviews) **:** Typically embedded into other platforms, with analytics provided through custom dashboards. Curious which reporting layers teams find most effective when using it for customer interactions.
- [**Gemini**](https://www.g2.com/products/google-gemini/reviews): Google’s AI model that tracks usage and performance in chatbot setups. The key question is whether its analytics reveal deeper insights like intent and sentiment, or stop at surface-level metrics.
- [**Sobot Omnichannel Suite**](https://www.g2.com/products/sobot-omnichannel-suite/reviews): Offers centralized analytics across web, mobile, and social channels. Interested in whether its metrics translate into actionable improvements for retention.
- [**AlphaSense**](https://www.g2.com/products/alphasense/reviews): Primarily a market intelligence tool, but includes AI-driven insights for conversations. Has anyone used it effectively for chatbot analytics, or is it better suited for research?

I’d like to know from the G2 community — which of these platforms provided analytics that truly shaped better customer experiences or business outcomes?

Found this during my research: [Gemini vs. ChatGPT](https://learn.g2.com/gemini-vs-chatgpt). Has anyone here compared their analytics side by side in real use cases?
