I like the comprehensive view and dashboards for seeing my spending from a bird’s-eye view. The budgeting feature’s actual-versus-budget comparison helps me know whether I’m going to cross the budget during the year. The app catalog helps me see whether my software spending is benchmarked properly against what’s available in the market, and expert requests help a bit with analyzing what’s new and what might better fit the organization’s requirements. Vendor trends are helpful for understanding unfamiliar vendors and what categories they fall into. I also found the initial setup very easy because the SpendHound team took our information and uploaded everything on the back end.

I like that SpendHound is free, with no upfront or monthly cost, and that the support is great and very helpful. I use it to benchmark our big software subscriptions and keep track of contract renewals. When a renewal is coming up, I can send SpendHound the contract to find out if we’re getting a good deal, and they can help us negotiate a better price. That saves us money and is a huge value add. Our NetSuite and Ramp integrations work great, and the initial setup was very easy—the implementation specialist made it seamless. I also think the AWS spend feature would be really helpful, though we haven’t had time to connect it yet.

I like how easy SpendHound is to use. I log in and immediately see everything I need in one view, with our spending organized in one place and clear owners for each area. It has replaced the manual work of pulling reports and building spreadsheets; now I can log in and have everything ready with a click. The monthly calls to check whether we want to use new features are helpful, and they consistently come out with features that are useful. I especially like the vendor renewal negotiation service: it gives us data to support what a renewal should cost, and we often find savings. Setup was very easy—we were connected to all our tools within a day, and the team worked with us to resolve the data issues we encountered.
