I use Homebase for scheduling, messaging, and task management at our cannabis stores. I find it very helpful and easy to use for everything schedule-related, including shift switching and publishing schedules. The app is great because employees can check in and do everything through it. I like that it's very easy to use, allowing employees to switch shifts easily, which makes the manager's job easier. The initial setup of Homebase was very easy, and I've been using it for six years now.

One of my favorite new features is how easy Homebase makes scheduling. The color-coded shifts are especially helpful because they let me quickly identify schedules at a glance without having to read each employee’s hours. It makes managing the schedule much faster and more efficient.

I like that schedules, timesheets, and PTO can all be built out within one platform. Employees can access the platform to clock in and out for breaks and shifts, and managers can easily review and fix timesheets when needed. PTO requests can be submitted through the app and, once approved, are automatically deducted from PTO banks. Onboarding is easy as well.
