Took a lot of repetitive questions off our support team
The best part is that it works with our support process instead of replacing everything. We can let the AI answer common questions, but if the user needs account-specific help, it can hand off or create a ticket. That was important for us because we can’t have an AI guessing about sensitive account issues.
I also like the control we get with custom instructions. We’re very careful about what the agent can and can’t say, especially around financial topics.

Our help center finally became useful
We already had a help center, but most users didn’t want to search through it. Chatbase made that same content way more usable because people can just ask their question. Setup was pretty painless, and we didn’t need a big engineering project to get it live.
I also like that we can use it in more than one place. We started with the website, but now we’re testing it in other channels too. It’s nice not having to rebuild the agent every time.

Easy to Launch and Keeps Our University Info in Sync
Students just want to ask a question and get help. Chatbase has been good because we can connect information from admissions, financial aid, housing, deadlines, campus services, and general student policies into one agent.
It was also easier to launch than I expected. We connected a lot of existing documentation instead of having to manually write every possible question and answer. The fact that it can sync with our docs is a big deal because university info changes all the time.
