Our CRM is fantastic for tracking deal values, lead status and client contact information, yet it cannot handle all the messy operational groundwork behind each building bid, where we coordinate with half‑a‑dozen different external subcontractors at the same time. I really enjoy how I can slice one tender project into bite‑sized, assignable tasks, each with its own due date and dedicated comment thread. Not long ago, we were bidding on a new residential housing development with a tight submission deadline. I spun up a separate Zopkit workspace and split the workload: one task for chasing masonry pricing, another for facade contractor site assessment, a third for collecting electrical vendor quotations. Our estimators and junior sales staff could leave questions and feedback directly on each task card. When our facade subcontractor sent over revised site condition notes, all context stayed attached to that exact task, instead of floating loose across scattered email threads.
