"Effortless Fundraising with No Processing Fees"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zeffy?

I love using Zeffy for fundraising as it allows us to easily and effectively collect peer-to-peer funds. The lack of processing fees is fantastic because it maximizes the amount of money we get from each transaction. The ability to send correspondence through the platform for free is absolutely amazing and customizing the platform for our use at no cost is super nice. I also appreciate the flexibility to utilize different types of fundraising, like auctions and ticket sales. Setting up Zeffy was super easy, and we were up and running in a matter of minutes. Overall, the features that really stand out are the minimal processing fees and the customization options.

As a small nonprofit team, we needed a platform that could do a lot without a steep learning curve — and Zeffy delivers. We've been able to raise funds and run campaigns with real ease. The platform strikes the perfect balance: simple enough to get started quickly, but flexible enough to customize for our specific needs without feeling limited. Integrating with our Hubspot CRM by making exports easy is a huge plus, and our external traffic finds the website visually appealing and easy to use. It's speedy and we've never had trouble with accessibility.

The user experience is genuinely intuitive, which matters when you're wearing multiple hats and can't afford to spend hours troubleshooting. Zeffy has taken the friction out of fundraising so we can focus on our mission instead of the mechanics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zeffy?

I don't really have any additional improvements at this point, but I think I recall not being able to add a 'Buy Now' option for our auction campaign, which would have been really cool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Hubert Fanneau of Zeffy

Thank you for this review! Zeffy is an all-inclusive fundraising platform with 0% platform fees, and using it for peer to peer fundraising with free donor correspondence is one of the most impactful combinations for growing a supporter community.

The peer to peer tools include supporter pages, team campaigns with leaderboards, and automated fundraiser reminder emails, all at no cost and part of the same platform as your auction and donation forms.

On the Buy Now option for auctions: that's a genuinely useful feature for items where you'd rather close the sale than wait for bidding. It's not currently in the Auction tool, but it's exactly the kind of specific product feedback that shapes what gets built next. Our team ships improvements weekly.

If you host any events alongside your auction campaigns, Zeffy's Ticketing tool covers multiple ticket types, QR code check in, and automatic event reminder emails, all included at no cost. Zeffy's Memberships feature is also a strong fit for converting your most engaged supporters into recurring members, with automatic renewal and membership cards built in.

Glad Zeffy is working so well for your organization's fundraising goals.

"A terrific breakthrough in sales"

What do you like best about Zeffy?

Zeffy is easy and secure to use and it keeps track of your customers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zeffy?

When you enter a donation amount and use the scroll wheel on the mouse to scroll down, the amount changes. The program hides the "Other" option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Non profit using Zeffy for donations, event management and newsletter features."
5/5
What do you like best about Zeffy?

I like that it's easy to use both from the administrator side and customer side. It's very easy to build event ticketing pages and donation pages. I love that I can include logos and images to theme our donation/event campaigns. Customers and donors have found it easy to use and I have no received any negative feedback from them. What do you dislike about Zeffy?

I have used the newsletter templates for our monthly newsletter and it can sometimes be slow to design depending on the template and limited in the editing features that I have. It is also not seamless in the different email platforms and can look different from one email provider to the next. It makes it hard to edit it within Zeffy and see it look different in email. "Zeffy does a lot!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zeffy?

There are so many great features that every time we learn a new one we get excited. We can do all our program registration & events in Zeffy and the setup is really easy (we are getting rid of our previous platform); the events page that we can just add to our website; the Charitable Receipts autosend; the automatic refund feature for cancelled tickets; the no fee processing; . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zeffy?

We tried making a newsletter and it doesn't portray images the same in emails as it does when creating it - even the template we chose without changing anything was very skewed so we haven't been able to take advantage of that (maybe a newsletter with no images would be ok). Deposits take a little longer than we are used to, but we don't mind since it is a small price to pay for no fees on so many features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"We love Zeffy!"
5/5
What do you like best about Zeffy?

Zeffy makes everything so much easier from creating campaigns to automating replies, receipts and thank yous to our donors. We can print off helpful forms to help our events to run more smoothly and we can collect gift aid through a Zeffy related platform making everything seamless. The help desk is extremely efficient and responds in good time. The Campaign Builder is very easy to use and we can be quite creative in setting targets, uploading logos and photos to make the campaign more attractive. We get good feedback from our members too about how easy it is to use in terms of booking events or donating to our various causes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zeffy?

There can be glitches when trying to use Zeffy on a laptop but again, the help desk is looking in to this with one of our members who has tech ability in order to resolve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Fundraising Platform that's 100% FREE!"
4/5
What do you like best about Zeffy?

Zeffy’s biggest advantage is that it’s free for nonprofits, which helps organizations keep more of the donations they receive. The platform is easy to use, setting up donation forms and event registrations is straightforward, and the interface is clean. The optional donor tips help support the platform without requiring nonprofits to pay subscription or transaction fees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zeffy?

The optional tip prompt can sometimes confuse donors or make the checkout experience feel less straightforward. Some advanced customization and reporting features are more limited compared to paid fundraising platforms, and integrations with other tools aren’t as extensive. I would also recommend adding support for dedicated card machines, rather than relying only on Tap to Pay on iPhone, as this would make in-person fundraising more flexible and accessible for organizations using different devices. "Zeffy has everything covered in one package form start, finish, and follow up."
5/5
What do you like best about Zeffy?

One of the most valuable features of Zeffy is its ability to automate attendee communication from start to finish. The platform allows organizations to send tax receipts immediately after donations, create personalized thank-you emails, schedule follow-up check-in emails, and send last-minute event reminders to registered attendees.

This comprehensive communication workflow significantly reduces administrative work while ensuring that every participant receives timely, professional, and consistent communication throughout the entire registration process. The ability to automate these touchpoints provides a seamless experience for attendees and allows event organizers to focus more on serving their community rather than managing emails manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zeffy?

One area where Zeffy could be improved is its newsletter creation feature. While the platform offers email templates, I found them to be less intuitive and not as user-friendly as I would like. The design and editing experience feels somewhat limited, making it more time-consuming to create visually appealing and engaging newsletters compared to other email marketing platforms.

Overall, Zeffy excels at automating donor and event communications, but enhancing its newsletter builder with more flexible, modern, and easy-to-use templates would make it an even stronger all-in-one solution for nonprofits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing for Small Nonprofits"
5/5
What do you like best about Zeffy?

We've had a wonderful experience using Zeffy for our nonprofit, Saturday Morning Breakfast in Mac (SMB). The platform is intuitive, easy to set up, and makes it simple to create fundraising campaigns without worrying about platform fees. We especially appreciate how accessible it is for both our small team and our supporters. Zeffy has been a valuable tool in helping us grow our fundraising efforts, and we highly recommend it to other nonprofits looking for an affordable, user-friendly solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zeffy?

Donor confusion about the optional tip. Zeffy asks donors for an optional contribution to support the platform, and some donors mistakenly think it's required by the nonprofit. Just make sure you let your donors know that the contribution is optional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Update after over 2 years of using the Zeffy Platform."
4/5
What do you like best about Zeffy?

The issue is how difficult it is to see the donation for Zeffy and that it starts at 17 percent which makes people think that's just a standard fee. Other than that they continue to be 100% free and have a nice interface that is user friendly. There are many options for ticketing and services and even volunteers. They now have a nicer CRM and Have a Facebook group now for Zeffy users that can ask questions about how to do specific functions in the platform so you are not relying just on customer service.. they have a. Very nice CRM I have integrated Zeffy with Zapier but it wasn't easy or clear cut. The performance has been good so far and it has not failed to go through the payment process or volunteer sign up ever. IT is trying to incorporat AI, but I stay away from that kind of stuff on Zeffy, so I don't really use the AI/ intelligence feature it has. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zeffy?

So. The issue is that you can't just uncheck the donation for Zeffy and you have to go to a multiple choice box. Then hit custom, then manually type the number 0 (zero). But to the normal eye it looks like the price went from $25 to $30. (Their standard is 17%. I still think for a free donation platform it's good, but I've had to put extra work to make videos and write and tell people how to avoid the Zeffy contribution. Also I have no way of knowing unless I ask, if they paid it or saw my video or not. If they made it easier to understand that the Contribution is optional and start at a less percentage rate, that wouldn't make it look like your trying to hid the fee. Response from Hubert Fanneau of Zeffy

Thank you, Denise! Over two years of use and the effort you have put into educating your donors through videos and guides says a lot about how seriously you take their experience. Zeffy is a 100% free fundraising platform for nonprofits, and that kind of proactive communication makes the platform work better for everyone in your community.

On the donation form side, a few things that may help: Zeffy includes a dedicated section explaining the tip before donors confirm payment, automated tax receipts go out immediately after each gift, and recurring giving is fully self-managed by donors with no extra setup on your end.

On the tip: thank you for this feedback. The suggested tip depends on the donation amount: 17% for smaller gifts, dropping to 7% for larger ones, and donors can edit it to any amount, including zero, before confirming. On average, what donors choose to tip ends up lower than the fixed fees most platforms charge nonprofits, which means more of every dollar goes to your mission. Beyond the dedicated section we include, a note in your form description in your own words can add more context for your specific audience.

Two Zeffy tools worth exploring. Zeffy's peer-to-peer fundraising lets your supporters create their own fundraising pages for your cause, which can multiply reach during major campaigns. Zeffy's Donor Mail lets you send personalized thank-you letters and appeals from the dashboard, with printing and mailing handled for you.

Really glad Zeffy is working for your organization.

"A Game-Changer for Our Small Nonprofit"
5/5
What do you like best about Zeffy?

As a brand-new nonprofit, every dollar matters, and Zeffy has made it possible for us to accept donations, sell event tickets, and process memberships without losing a percentage of those funds to platform fees. That has been huge for an organization like Milford Makes, where we're working to build a community Creative Reuse Center and Makerspace from the ground up. The platform is easy to use, reliable, and gives us professional tools that would normally be out of reach for a small organization with a limited budget. We've had a great experience and recommend Zeffy to any nonprofit looking for an affordable, mission-focused fundraising platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zeffy?

One feature I'd love to see is the option to create a true event landing page. Currently, the ticket price is one of the first things visitors see, before they've had a chance to connect with the purpose or value of the event. For workshops, the current registration page works great, but for higher-priced events like retreats or fundraisers, it would be helpful to have a page that tells the story first—with photos, details, testimonials, and the impact—while still including registration farther down the page. That extra flexibility would make Zeffy an even stronger platform for nonprofits hosting a wide range of events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
