Working with Yonda Tax has been an absolute timesaver for my business. After dealing with a previous company that mishandled my sales tax filings and left me with a large bill, Yonda stepped in and made the entire process so easy and stress-free. Gareth was incredibly knowledgeable and strategic, helping me understand and fix the issues quickly, and their pricing was significantly better than what I had been paying before. Their onboarding process was seamless, organized, and clear, with simple SOPs and templates that made setup effortless. Honestly, there isn’t much I dislike about Yonda. The only small challenge has been that TikTok Shop isn’t fully integrated yet, so I have to manually upload reports each month. However, this isn’t really Yonda’s fault, TikTok’s system isn’t widely integrated with many platforms yet. As our shopify brand grew we learned that we needed to start charging sales tax in various states. The idea of registering in all of these states and managing the remittance sounded like a nightmare. There are some programs you can do it yourself (such as TaxJar) but their reviews in the shopify app store were horrible and really scared me off. So we started looking for a managed service and came across Yonda.

We have been using them for over a year now and cannot say enough good things. It has completely taken the stress of sales tax off my plate and it is priced competitively with SELF-SERVICE options like TaxJar. There is nothing I do not like about Yonda. One minor annoyance I had at the beginning was that I had to take a picture of all the mail I received and send it to them, but now they offer a virtual mailbox that it can be sent to instead so i dont have to do that anymore. Managing sales tax with Yonda is so easy - both to set up initially, and the management of it. Not only is the software/integration really simple to setup and connect to Shopify stores, but the customer service and support we get from our account manager takes all the complexity of US sales tax and allows us to make quick and informed decisions. Yonda Tax has been amazing, and exactly what we needed as a small ecomm brand without dedicated accounting team or tax professionals. We were trying to do it all ourself using Avalara, and it was a true nightmare. We had so many problems at Avalara and getting meaningful helpl was impossible. Yonda is a white glove, hands on service where you get a dedicated rep who manages your account. I absolutely love it. It requires very little from us. It is a fair price. As a brand founder, my expertise is not paying sales tax. Yonda handles it monthly and I've yet to have an issue with them, calculating, reporting, and remitting all applicable sales tax.
