Yardtack Reviews & Product Details

Yardtack is a comprehensive yard management solution designed to optimize the efficiency of dock and yard operations. By integrating advanced technologies such as camera-based Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and real-time yard mapping, Yardtack provides unparalleled visibility and control over trailer movements, significantly reducing dwell times and enhancing overall operational throughput. Key Features and Functionality: - Gate OCR with Event Timeline: Achieves over 98% accuracy in recognizing container and license plate information at entry and exit points. Each trailer movement is logged with precise timestamps, driver identification, and bay assignments, creating a comprehensive event timeline for audits and dispute resolution. - Live Yard Map & Heatmaps: Offers a real-time, bird's-eye view of trailer positions within the yard. Color-coded slot statuses indicate availability, occupancy, and overstays, while dwell time heatmaps identify bottlenecks and inform optimal trailer placement strategies. - SLA Breach Alerts: Provides proactive notifications when trailers approach predefined dwell limits. Configurable thresholds based on carrier, priority, and load type ensure timely alerts are routed to yard operations via SMS, email, or directly through the Transportation Management System (TMS) dashboard. - Native TMS/YMS Integration: Features pre-built connectors for leading systems such as Oracle TMS, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, and SAP TM. This bi-directional synchronization maintains alignment of appointment schedules, yard movements, and carrier updates in real-time. Primary Value and User Solutions: Yardtack addresses critical challenges in yard management by automating and streamlining processes that traditionally require manual intervention. By reducing dwell times by 15-30% and doubling trailer turn rates, it enhances operational efficiency and throughput. The system's real-time visibility and proactive alerting mechanisms prevent SLA breaches, thereby avoiding costly detention fees and improving carrier relationships. Furthermore, seamless integration with existing TMS and YMS platforms ensures a cohesive and efficient workflow, empowering users to make informed decisions and maintain optimal yard operations.
