What do you like best about Yardi Voyager?

While using Yardi, I had to use it every single day. Yardi Voyager is the complete solution for managing any kind of property. The suite of software can be used for residential, commercial, affordable, senior, student, HOA/condo, public housing and single-family properties. The software offers a centralized, integrated system that is hard to beat or match. It's your system to store all property, portfolio and resident information. You can track occupancy, rents, leases, lease status, unit history and status, etc... It's a system for lease administration, maintenance and work orders, accounting, billing, and property reporting. The system is relatively intuitive but can present a significant learning curve to teams using it for the first time. As a web-based solution, it can integrate with your existing software easily however, Yardi is protective in terms of allowing developers access to their API which can make it difficult to integrate with every system you may be using. In terms of implementation, Yardi is very responsive while it's software is being rolled out to a new client. You will have an entire team dedicated to your implementation and available to you for any question that may come up. Their ongoing customer support is very responsive and knowledgeable however I have experienced some significant gaps in understanding due to my limited knowledge of what specific features are called. What do you dislike about Yardi Voyager?

- The number of features and capabilities can be overwhelming and makes it harder for users to gain a firm grasp of every part of the software.

- It could benefit from a bit of a redesign/update as the experience can be kind of clunky and looks a little dated.

- Depending on your level of access, it can be hard to know why you are unable to complete an action or if you need approval from another team member before proceeding. This can slow work and make users unable to meet deadlines.

- As I mentioned there is usually a significant learning curve for teams when implementing.

- Yardi guards their API with a bit of an iron fist, which can make some integrations difficult.

- Customer Service can sometimes take a while to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
