The user and permission management is particularly well done; you can easily control everything. For building a site with many different sections (forums, news, galleries), it's a reliable and well-structured foundation. **What do you dislike about XOOPS CMS?** The problem is that it's showing its age. The interface is completely outdated; it's not very user-friendly these days. And the worst part is that there aren't many new modules or stylish themes anymore. Compared to other CMSs, updates and installation are a real hassle; you really have to get your hands dirty. **What problems is XOOPS CMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem is, it's become outdated. InterXOOPS allowed me to set up a system with users and effectively manage who has access to what, without requiring complicated code. It solves the problem of organizing diverse content within the same structure. The advantage is that I was able to work on a very stable and reliable foundation to develop the project. The front end is completely obsolete; it's not very user-friendly today. And the worst part is that there aren't many new modules or stylish themes anymore. There are options in the realm of Content Management Systems (CMS) XOOPS remains a poor contender. **What do you dislike about XOOPS CMS?** It does not receive the level of support and updates as some of its competitors. It needs to provide all the necessary features I require. Support, updates are lacking and when I started working with Xoops, WordPress was acting as a plugin for it. Currently, WP is a leader in the CMS field. **Recommendations to others considering XOOPS CMS:** It's suitable for small to medium size projects, but I'm certain there are other tools that would fit the bill much better. I delivered turnkey websites that withstood the test of time and brought value to my clients.
