Wrenchpod Reviews & Product Details

Wrenchpod is shop management software built from the ground up for independent heavy-duty truck and diesel repair shops — not a light-duty auto repair platform with "trucks" bolted on, and not an enterprise fleet system priced for 300-truck maintenance departments. It's built for the 1–10 bay shop that needs real software without the six-week onboarding, per-location fees, or features it will never touch. Wrenchpod handles the full shop workflow in one system: work orders with per-labor-line time tracking, professional invoicing and estimate approval (customers approve from their phone, no login needed), parts and inventory with tiered price matrices and purchase orders, and DOT-compliant annual inspections built around 49 CFR Part 396 — including inspector qualification tracking and automatic renewal reminders. What sets it apart is a genuinely useful AI layer built into the core product, not bolted on as an upsell: an AI assistant that answers questions from your shop's live data and can take actions (create work orders, send estimates, mark jobs paid) with your approval; an AI Ops "money radar" that automatically surfaces un-billed work, aging receivables, thin-margin jobs, and dead stock — ranked by dollar impact; and Scan Invoice, which reads a photo of a vendor's parts invoice and receives the parts into inventory automatically. Pricing is simple and transparent: $79/user/month, or $249/month flat for unlimited users — no location fees, no setup fees, no contracts. Every plan includes a 30-day free trial with no credit card required to start.
