It was last updated just 3 weeks ago, which shows the developers are actively maintaining it and keeping it secure. With over 1 million active installations, you know you are using a reliable tool trusted by a massive community. Superb Database Cleanup: It does an exceptional job of cleaning up the database. It easily wipes out unnecessary clutter like old post revisions and transient data, which has a noticeable impact on optimization. The plugin now tries to do a bit of everything, and as a result a lot of its functionality ends up overlapping with premium tools I already pay for—specifically WP Rocket for caching and performance, plus a dedicated image optimizer. You have to always optimize full databases tables although this is not a big issue. another feature like lazy-load is also not available in the free plan which is must that every site should have. WordPress comes with lots of flexibility to customize and extend the functionality of sites by using extra plugins but that also makes sites slower, here comes WP-Optimize which helps in improving the performance of sites by optimizing the database tables automatically, while optimizing the database you can also look at the tables and their sizes to know some basic but important information like any specific table is too big and reduce the performance of your site.
