"Trustworthy, Actively Maintained Plugin with Superb Database Cleanup"

4/5

What do you like best about WP-Optimize?

Actively Maintained and Trustworthy: One of the main reasons I chose this plugin is its incredible track record. It was last updated just 3 weeks ago, which shows the developers are actively maintaining it and keeping it secure. With over 1 million active installations, you know you are using a reliable tool trusted by a massive community.

Superb Database Cleanup: It does an exceptional job of cleaning up the database. It easily wipes out unnecessary clutter like old post revisions and transient data, which has a noticeable impact on optimization.

Peace of Mind: Knowing that the plugin is consistently updated gives me total peace of mind that it will remain compatible with the latest WordPress releases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP-Optimize?

While the database cleanup features are fantastic, the biggest drawback for me is the feature bloat. The plugin now tries to do a bit of everything, and as a result a lot of its functionality ends up overlapping with premium tools I already pay for—specifically WP Rocket for caching and performance, plus a dedicated image optimizer. What problems is WP-Optimize solving and how is that benefiting you?

WP-Optimize helps tackle database bloat by removing post revisions, clearing table overhead, and purging trash or expired transient data. By getting rid of this unnecessary clutter, it keeps your database from growing for no reason and helps prevent your WordPress site from gradually slowing down over time. "Optimise and boost WP Performance"

4/5

What do you like best about WP-Optimize?

It's very easy to run and set up, once you have finished the initial configuration it basically does everything else to optimise your website for speed and performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP-Optimize?

It has several options you have to set up and it's easy to miss an important setting unless you are tech-savvy to know what's important... A one-click optimisation with standard settings would have been a welcome feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It is a good plugin to clean and optimize your WordPress"

3.5/5

What do you like best about WP-Optimize?

What I like most about WP-Optimize is that, being a plugin with a free version, it offers many very useful features to optimize your website with WordPress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP-Optimize?

What I like least is that many of the options available in the plugin are not 100% effective for optimization, such as image optimization or cache optimization. There are other plugins that offer better service, although with an additional cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Make Wordpress"

4/5

What do you like best about WP-Optimize?

The first thing I like about wp-optimize is how easy it is to optimize your database tables is, with a few clicks and optimize your large database tables in bulk. at the same time its easier to remove post revisions, clean trashed posts and auto-draft posts that are laying around and no longer useful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP-Optimize?

I like you can optimize database tables but in the free version, you don't get to choose the individual tables you want to optimize. You have to always optimize full databases tables although this is not a big issue. another feature like lazy-load is also not available in the free plan which is must that every site should have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WP-Optimize solving and how is that benefiting you?

Automatically optimizing database tables Remove old post revisions while keeping the last few revisions Optimizing images on upload Setting proper cache-control settings to keep the cache always hot although you can minify the CSS, JS, Html but I like it to enable on Cloudflare so that's your call Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Optimize WordPress Sites easily"

4/5

What do you like best about WP-Optimize?

WordPress comes with lots of flexibility to customize and extend the functionality of sites by using extra plugins but that also makes sites slower, here comes WP-Optimize which helps in improving the performance of sites by optimizing the database tables automatically, while optimizing the database you can also look at the tables and their sizes to know some basic but important information like any specific table is too big and reduce the performance of your site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP-Optimize?

Compared with the competition feature set offered by wp-optimize feels limited but since its free and works really well worth a try. no option to load optimized images with CDN URL is something that I missed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering WP-Optimize:

If your budget allows use wp-rocket Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WP-Optimize solving and how is that benefiting you?

Optimizing the database automatically and removing old revision posts, setting headers for static files so that files are cached for longer in the user's browser, combining CSS and JS files to reduce the number of requests while excluding some files Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
