What do you like best about WP Engine?

We had a fantastic experience we had with Anna P's support. She took the time to address all of our concerns and questions thoroughly and understood our questions even when they were vague due to our own confusion. She also provided excellent strategic advice on how to best utilize the platform. Additionally, she researched and shared a comprehensive list of resources and articles which are extremely valuable and will be critical in helping us manage our site successfully moving forward. Her intelligence and dedication to her work were very clear to us.

On top of all of that, it was so pleasant communicating with her! She has made a significant difference for our business as we navigate away from a full-time developer team, and we are very grateful for her expertise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about WP Engine?

WPEngine is consistently helpful through their chat support. Today, I received help with two sites in one conversation. I rate them 5-Stars... every time!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hands down the best customer service, especially when their system occasionally has flaws.... they are always ready to get to the root of the problem and get it fixed. But even when I have issues that are really on my end... in the Wordpress site, they try to bend over backwards to help me fix my problem.

We've been hosting sites for our clients on WPEngine for over 10 years. We've had other companies try to take our business, but we always turn them down.

Love Love Love the dashboard and how it works. It didn't take me long to learn how to use it 5 years ago, when I joined our company, and I have been able to update my knowledge over the years as the system changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WP Engine?

The one thing I don't like... Is the semi-yearly call to ask me to upgrade my servers to a more expensive plan. but they are not insistent, they try to be helpful. And their explanation of "use of resources" was so vague in these calls, I had to do my own research to find out what they really meant. No one in their sales team could really explain it.

What do you like best about WP Engine?

I really value the speed and reliability of WP Engine's hosting. It's premium hosting with the best and fastest servers we've ever used, and we've tried many different providers before. Another aspect I like is the partner program tools specifically built for agencies like ours, making it easy to access all our clients with one-click logins instead of dealing with various individual logins. The automated nightly backups are a big plus as well, letting us be more creative with our websites and ensuring that if anything goes wrong, we have a safe spot to roll back to. I also appreciate the ability to clear caching with just one click, which makes testing and development a breeze. The fact that WP Engine offers these essential tools right out of the box saves us dozens of hours per website, which is fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about WP Engine?

It's been a while, but after their Studiopress acquisition, you can use tons of Free Templates from WPEngine (which otherwise you would generally had to pay - considering the template quality) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about WP Engine?

I like WP Engine because it's super easy to use and very reliable. It provides a super reliable hosting environment ensuring our client sites are always up and online. I find it really easy to manage updates, security, and site monitoring, which takes care of the overall health of our client sites. This ease means I don't have to think about the infrastructure, and I know it's secure, which gives me peace of mind. Additionally, the initial setup was incredibly easy; creating an account, migrating sites, and updating everything is straightforward. What do you dislike about WP Engine?

Sometimes the support could be faster. It can feel like we're waiting too long to get a response. I also find it annoying to have to repeatedly say I want to talk to a human. What do you like best about WP Engine?

I use WP Engine for hosting and managing client sites, and I appreciate how it simplifies a lot of the process. The managed hosting makes it easy to resolve issues related to DNS, which can otherwise be time-consuming. I find WP Engine very easy to use, and the staging environments make it simple to test things. They are easy to spin up and copy to or from, allowing for quick testing, sharing updates with clients, and pushing changes before moving to production. What do you like best about WP Engine?

There are a few aspects I appreciate: the automatic backups provide peace of mind, and having access to a 24x7 support system is very reassuring. Additionally, the Git deployment feature is quite useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are two main issues I have encountered. First, I am unable to run cron jobs directly on the server, which limits my ability to automate tasks as needed. The going live/adding a new domain process feels a little clunky. I’m never sure if the standard practice of running a search and replace is running or not. I often have to chat in to resolve dns issues going live. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Super simple and streamlined hosting solution. It's quick and easy to get website hosting set up and if you run into any issues, getting in touch with support through chat is super fast and they are always very helpful.
