"Workato helps us building complex integrations at lightning speed."
5/5
What do you like best about Workato?

No-code low-code platform that helps non-technical people to pick-up quickly and start building automations.

Top-to-bottom approach of the recipes that exactly depicts the flow charts helps anybody to pick-up the tool easily. Unlike other tools which cause some confusion on the terminology, but workato is using the exact programming terminology which helps a technical person to learn the tool easily.

The customer support was very helpful in resolving my issues and also helped me in learning the techniques of debug, writing complex formulas et., My clients are using the tool for most of their ETL and Business process automations across all cost centers. Citizen developer program, suggested by workato was really helpful for POs and stakeholders to easily pickup the tool and implement the automation on their easily.

The tools it provides helps in implementation of our integration very easily. I coundn't imagine a day at work without using workato. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workato?

Honestly nothing at the moment. I wish every action has debug logs for all applications by default. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Platform That Grew With Us"
5/5
What do you like best about Workato?

Workato has a very user-friendly interface that makes it easy to create recipes. The documentation is comprehensive and easy to understand even beginners can build workflows with confidence.

I've been using Workato since 2020, and the platform has grown tremendously over the years. The range of capabilities available today is impressive, but what truly stands out is their support team they are extremely responsive and always ready to help when needed.

The new Genie and AI features are also excellent, and it feels like we are moving very fast in that direction. It's exciting to see how quickly the platform is evolving with AI at its core.

We have built over 300+ integrations on Workato, and the experience keeps getting better with every passing day not just in terms of features, but performance-wise as well. The platform continues to deliver reliability and speed at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workato?

While I love the platform, there are a few things that I feel could be better.

The cache issue is something that really bothers me sometimes it holds onto old data and the only option we have is to recreate the entire recipe. There is no other way around it, which is frustrating.

With scheduled triggers, you can only set one time which is very limiting when you need more flexibility.

We have also faced some issues with NetSuite objects not being properly synced, and the Jira APIs were not updated which caused problems for us on a few occasions.

For the Genie AI part, I really wish there were versions available. It is something that is missing and would make a big difference.

The JD suggestions are okay but they could definitely be a lot better and more relevant.

Another thing is the KB updates sometimes they sit in the queue for more than a day before going live, which is not ideal when you need answers quickly.

OAuth for connectors was not there in the beginning, but I will say they have come a long way and a lot of connectors now have it which is great.

Lastly, the lookup table limit is very bad. Yes, we have Data Tables as an alternative but the problem is you cannot add data from a CSV there like you can in lookup tables. So there is still a gap that needs to be filled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Workato Makes Building Automations and Integrations Fast and Straightforward"
5/5
What do you like best about Workato?

The development effort required to build an automation or integration in Workato is much lower compared to other iPaaS tools. Workato offers many features and actions that make development easier and more straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workato?

The logging in the API platform needs improvement. For example, we encountered a 502 Bad Gateway issue and wanted to resolve it, but it was difficult to trace the root cause because detailed logs—especially network- and connection-related logs—weren’t available. We ended up contacting Workato support (customer success partners) to get access to the detailed network logs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Integrations, Robust Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Workato?

I like how Workato helps us connect different business applications to automate routine tasks, which would otherwise require manual effort. Workato syncs data between systems like Salesforce, SAP, Workday, and others, streamlining business processes and reducing errors. I appreciate how it eliminates manual data entry and repetitive tasks across multiple systems, keeping data synced in real time and reducing data errors and inconsistencies. The platform improves efficiency by automating complex business workflows and enables faster integration between different systems without extensive coding. What I like most about Workato is how easy it is to connect different applications and automate the recipes with minimal coding. The platform is user-friendly and flexible enough to handle complex integrations, and I find building Genies very easy. The user interface looks good and the low-code aspect helps us build integrations quickly without much development effort. Workato is stable, making it suitable for enterprise automations. The initial setup was quite straightforward, and the support team was very helpful with setup and training. I also like the pre-built connectors and the user-friendly interface. What do you dislike about Workato?

The Workato Go platform should improve the process for adding data sources. When adding data to a data source, there is an 'Access Group' field. If a new group is created after the data load is completed, I need to fully reload the data to include the new group, as there is no edit option available. This consumes a lot of API tasks from applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Integrations, Top-Score Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Workato?

I really appreciate how Workato takes the heavy lifting out of connecting our website to third-party systems, which speeds up how quickly I can get integrations live. The no-code and low-code recipes are excellent, letting me link platforms together without hand-coding every connection. The responsive support is a big plus because when I do hit a snag, I'm not stuck for long. I find the platform clean and easy to navigate, covering all the features I need to connect our site to other systems. Getting started was painless, and the onboarding support was genuinely helpful. I love how building connectors and putting recipes together is refreshingly straightforward without having to sink time into writing everything from scratch. What do you dislike about Workato?

I'd welcome a wider range of out-of-the-box connectors so I'm not building as many myself. It would also help enormously if they shared the underlying code for their ready-made connectors, so I could use them as a starting point and extend them with the features they're missing rather than reinventing the wheel. The other sticking point is the pace of enhancements. I've put in my share of requests over time, and it often feels as though they go into a void without ever materializing. "Easy-to-Use, Reliable Automation with Powerful SDK Flexibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Workato?

Workato's easy to use UX makes it easy for me to involve my teammates on the People Team in AI agent builds and automations without sacrificing advanced features that I need, like building sophisticated automations with less common apps using SDK builder to connect to APIs. Workato rarely encounters downtime and has proven consistently reliable from dev to production. We've also automated a lot of our new hire onboarding through its app builder with backend recipes and (eventually) an AI agent to support hiring managers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workato?

My dislikes are not entirely Workato's fault, but I'm on the People team so it's more common that I have to use the SDK builder than it is that I get the plug and play benefits. I realize that's likely because I do not represent the average user, but it would be nice to see Workato natively integrate with Lattice, LMSes like Sana.ai, and other people and performance related platforms. "Effortless Automation with AI Enhancements, Needs Trigger Improvements"
4/5
What do you like best about Workato?

I mainly use Workato for automations and model prediction delivery to different business partners. I love that with Workato, I don't have to worry about underlying infrastructure or code; I just grab the boxes I need and deploy automations for business really quickly. The platform is easy to use; it took me just 1 day to successfully deploy my first integration. I also appreciate the AI Integrations, as they're really good for me. I don't have to write manual messages for Teams or Slack. I just deliver value by grabbing the boxes I need, and the AI features take decisions by themselves. The initial setup was really easy. Just 2 months after implementation, there were successful automations in production environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workato?

Triggers, specifically when you have a custom trigger for different schedules, are kinda hard to complete the rule. Also, when testing, I don't want the job to execute, but when the automation is ON, it still executes. I'd like more advanced features and more details on how the executions work. If I'm testing, I want a dry run of the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong Connector Ecosystem, Clean UI, and Powerful Agentic Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Workato?

Workato has a large community and a strong connector ecosystem that developers and integrators can leverage to create multiple solutions, such as MCPs, Slack bots, or orchestrations. The UI is clean and easy to work with. Performance is also good, especially when everything is configured correctly. Workato also has a helpful support team, although sometimes it can take a while for issues to get resolved. The models in the Genies are solid as well, and the agentic layer is quite good; it can handle and perform complex agentic tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workato?

Sometimes it takes them a while to come up with an answer to a support ticket. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Integration with workato Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Workato?

I think the interface of Workato is the best compared to other integration platforms like MuleSoft. Easy to use, makes it easy to onboard new team members. I love being able to create custom connectors; I used it on an older project to cover specific needs. The support team is also very helpful and responsive and solves real-time issues quickly during production. “Workato is easy to deploy in the web browser and the cloud, and we can configure logging details for users easily." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workato?

Sometimes some connectors are not available on the trigger part. For example, there is no NetSuite REST connector. We just need that one trigger for our needs so we hope an update will come out as soon as possible by the end of the year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Integration with Room for Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Workato?

I really appreciate Workato's logs/job viewing capabilities, as they make it easy for us to pinpoint issues and inaccuracies, which in turn helps us write better code. I also like the alerting feature, as it allows us to take pre-emptive measures when an error occurs, enabling us to support clients more effectively. The ability to avoid writing custom code and having interactive mapping is a big plus. The advanced log viewing capabilities in the job and task format are incredibly useful, and I find the on-demand authentication mechanisms very handy. Additionally, Workato's advanced mapping capabilities, along with formulas and custom SDKs, are highly beneficial for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workato?

I find the CSV parsing tool to be a huge blocker since it only parses 50k records. The Lookup Table has a limit of 100k, which blocks us from integrating with more asset records. I would appreciate support for SQL or another database tool for storing more data and querying it. Sometimes, while writing code in Connector SDK, there are Ruby codes that work in the Ruby compiler but not in the Connector SDK, resulting in function issues. The caching capabilities could be extended in the API too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
