I use Wondershare EdrawMind for creating presentations and brainstorming ideas, which is really intuitive and easy to use. I like how it's easy to change anything with the drag-and-drop feature and write my ideas, making it simple to present them to an audience. Every day, I'm using it and I really like it. Maybe like the way AI nowadays getting integrated everywhere. So if there could be some sort of feature where I can just like, give AI prompts and automatically everything can be created, so that might be I'm missing out over here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I hate that I have subscribed to a 3-year plan, and now I have to pay extra to add just notes. I hate being screwed by a software company. It is a scam. Just don't scam your customer. I am just going to delete this app and move to Miro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I switched from years of using MindManager because it had gotten too expensive and was a yearly subscription. My motivation was simply to save money. But what I got was much more. EdrawMind is easier to use, much easier to insert images, and I love that you can buy a lifetime subscription. I use mindmaps for everything: weekly and monthly planning, outlining my mystery novels, planning events--everything! It's my go-to tool for staying organized. I love it. I don't know of any downsides. The only thing I miss from MindManager is the ability to click, create a linked map. But that's not a big deal for me. I have devised workarounds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have tried several mindmap tools and found most of them lacking in one feature or another. However, with EdrawMind, I was blown away by the ease of use and I took the lifetime subscription shortly. I often share these with my clients and they are impressed as well.

1. It has the best-looking mindmaps, the colors, and the layouts look amazing.

2. It sends regular updates with new features, like Kanban cards etc. in the recent times.

3. The number of options in the application is quite good - Fish bone, circular mindmaps.

I would love to see the following features in the tool:

1. Whiteboard-kind of a tool, where I write or draw something and convert the information into a mind map.

2. Freeform note of information. Sometimes, I just want to make boxes of text on my own and connect them with arrows the way I think makes sense.

3. The cloud storage available with the tool can have more options to organize the files better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the Gantt chart functionality; I use it to lay out the tasks I have on my plate and then organize them into actionable steps with timeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's easy to use. it's simple to understand and it's easy to manipulate the options. when you want to put something on paper and you want to see your idea into a mind map, this program does it exactly the way you want it. I think the price is a little steep for what the program is and what it does, because there are other options which are very close to what they do here. But still, if you want something which has a very good return on investment, I think this one is one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Why choose this app over any other? The maps are always available. The service has its own storage, so third-party storage is not necessary.

It is very convenient to just generate a link and share a map with colleagues, or have the option to collaborate, making it quite easy to implement use in a group.

At the start of a project, it is easy to begin creating a mind map among several people and clarify ideas without having to write much. It is an excellent alternative for daily use and to have a big-picture view of everything that needs to be considered when starting a project.

The support, when needed, responds quite quickly. But I have only used it once.

The customizations that can be made in the Windows application do not display correctly on the Web, and after modifying them on the Web, they are lost in the Windows app.

For example, in the Windows app, you can modify the font of the elements, on the Web you can do it, but with specific fonts, and the elements may display incorrectly.

I'm very excited about the Kanban board, and I would like to see some additional features. I know it's a 'recent' addition, so I'm excited to see how it evolves. It would be great to see more expanded input options for the cards. Right now, cards are limited to a Title and Bullet Points, but it would be great to have a dedicated Description field. And, it would be great to be able to see an expanded output that shows things like notes, and hyperlinks, and attachment references, without having to click icons to see what's there - kinda like a report page for a Cart, which would be very cool. I like that you can change the mind map's structure as you need to. I could convert it from a one-sided map to a fishbone diagram or two-sided map. Additionally, it is simple to copy and paste text or images from online resources without having to download them and upload them.

- I am not sure why, but when I use the hand tool to move up and down, EdrawMind is a little sluggish on my 2K monitor.

- I do not think the mobile app (iOS) can be used for editing or anything else; it is only suitable for viewing.

- The software (Windows) requires me to log in if I don't use it for a while. (I personally think it is annoying)

- I have to type Vietnamese on my Note Apps and then copy/paste it to the EdrawMind instead of typing it straight into the blocks. (weird) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I often struggle with deciding whether to store files locally or in the cloud. Additionally, having many files saved as "Untitled" makes searching difficult. It would be helpful if the system could automatically name files based on the core theme of the mind map. I also feel of the cloud stored files have the same features like the desktop generated on.
