"Flexible, Intuitive Platform with Excellent Support and GTM Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Wisepops?

What I appreciate most is the flexibility of the solution. It allows me to easily cover a wide variety of use cases, from pop-ups and notifications to more advanced marketing scenarios, all through a simple and intuitive interface.

The documentation is excellent, with plenty of practical use cases, and the support team is both responsive and genuinely helpful.

As an e-Commerce Manager with limited technical expertise, I really value the autonomy the platform gives me. I can quickly launch and adapt a wide range of marketing initiatives, especially thanks to the seamless integration with Google Tag Manager.

I would definitely recommend this solution! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wisepops?

The pricing change was the main downside for me. However, the solution remains very affordable and delivers excellent value for money given the wide range of features and possibilities it offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, No-Code Promo Banners and Pop-Ups for Shopify"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wisepops?

Speed is what sold us. We run a Shopify store with several brands, and before Wisepops, every promo banner or seasonal campaign meant touching the theme. That usually turned into a ticket, a developer, and waiting for a release window. Now I can build the banner or pop-up myself in the morning and have it live before lunch. There’s no theme code to edit, no deploy, and no risk of accidentally breaking a template. Targeting by URL, UTM parameter, and cart value is straightforward. The display triggers cover pretty much every case we had on our list, and the custom code option lets our designer drop in our own HTML and CSS when a campaign needs to match the brand exactly. Scheduling is the small feature that ends up saving us the most: shipping cutoff notices, sale start and end dates, and stock warnings all run on their own now, instead of relying on someone to remember to switch them off on a Sunday night. What do you dislike about Wisepops?

Visibility into the Shopify side is thin, especially around conversion tracking. When the numbers do not look the way we expect, there is no real way to check what is happening. No integration health view, no event log, nothing that shows whether the order data actually came through and, if it did not, why. You end up comparing Wisepops against Shopify and GA4 by hand and guessing at the difference. Reporting could go a step further in general. The basic figures are there, but for the analysis we actually want (campaign against campaign, revenue per display over a longer period, results by segment) we export the data and rebuild it elsewhere. Clearer documentation on how the tracking is wired together would already help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strategic Support, Strong A/B Testing, and AI Analysis with Wisepops MCP"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wisepops?

We have been using Wisepops for several years, primarily for popups on our website. What convinces me the most is the support: not only do you get quick responses, but also genuine strategic input and feedback on your campaigns. Prompted by the support, we are now testing other formats beyond the classic popups. The A/B testing works reliably and helps us test variants cleanly against each other. A highlight is also the Wisepops MCP — with it, we can analyze our campaign and pageview data directly via AI assistant, which has significantly accelerated our evaluations. What do you dislike about Wisepops?

The design options are sometimes not as flexible as I would like — but that's complaining at a high level. We have occasionally had difficulties with the targeting rules until the delivery worked as planned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Modern UI, Smooth Setup, and Standout Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Wisepops?

I especially like the modern UI, and the support team definitely deserves a special shoutout. Wisepops works smoothly right out of the box for probably 80% of users. The pricing feels reasonable, and their built-in AI Support is a big help when you need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wisepops?

A few features could still use some refinement. I’d really like a completely free-form element positioning system, rather than being limited to a rigid grid or box-style layout. I also find it a bit clunky to pass metadata through hidden fields—especially since you can’t automatically capture that data via Webhooks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A clean UI to help personalize, test, & win quickly on site."
4/5
What do you like best about Wisepops?

Wisepops clean, intuitive UI allows us to quickly standup campaigns and test scenarios so that we can gain results quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wisepops?

Support is seriously lacking for US-based accounts. My team is on the EST time zone, and we usually have to wait a full day just to get an initial response. For more complicated issues that require additional troubleshooting details, resolution can take multiple days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"So many opportunities for cross-team collabs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wisepops?

It's so easy to establish onto any website. We are currently using it on our landing pages doman, and our main Marketing site domain! I've never had an issue with performance - it's quick to setup and easy to pop in and monitor results. I'll be setting up the Slack integration so so I can get updates even easier. It's a really exciting tool that everyone on the team wants a part of - so many templates and different uses, and accessible enough for any team member to understand what goes on behind the curtain. All the advanced features (custom code, filtering by UTMs, adjusting the display trigger) make it fun to personalize, and easy and easy to track specific users & events. Been using it for around 5-6 months now and only pushing out MORE campaigns:) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wisepops?

Figuring out the email sync feature, particularly with Hubspot/Zapier/Iterable was a bit tricky to figure out at first. We attempt to track a lot of information on our end, so there's some technical heavy work to go through. Setting up goals is another thing that I think just may not be our jam - we have a lot of internal tracking that seems to be more helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best way to add pop-ins to the Shopify shopping cart and display notifications"
4/5
What do you like best about Wisepops?

Wisepops offers features that aren't available on Shopify. You can target specific customer segments, send them notifications about messages or products, or trigger notifications in their shopping cart. Wisepops provides new ways to keep customers engaged online. It's easy to get started with just a little guidance and some enthusiasm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wisepops?

You have to dig deep to find certain meta field information needed to calculate the total minus free shipping, or search around to find certain dynamic fields to add. It would be helpful to have them all in one place. I'm talking about these fields and others: {{ cart.total_price }} ... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Popups with Excellent Targeting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wisepops?

I like how incredibly user-friendly Wisepops is, from start to finish. The initial implementation on our website was seamless and hassle-free. For our daily operation, the intuitive builder makes setting up new campaigns very simple and straightforward. Their well-written documentation makes it easy to find solutions. The main value for us is speed and autonomy; the easy setup and intuitive builder allow us to deploy new pop-ups in minutes. Their great documentation also helps us solve any issues instantly without waiting for IT support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wisepops?

Our only challenge at the beginning was accurately estimating our required page views, leading to a few package upgrades. It was entirely worth it, as Wisepops effectively kept visitors on our site, but we definitely recommend following their initial setup and traffic recommendations.
