It is the best application ever. I use the application multiple times a day to route content to internal teams/external partners for review and approval. When I make a new folder I have to scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN to find it. Then after I upload I have to scroll ALL the way down again to open the folder. Also can't make link immediately after upload if folder is empty, have to click folder again. **What problems is Wiredrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Personal FTPs have too much hassle and went down to often. In order to delete media, there are a few obscure clicks that need to be made prior to having the function of deleting. Probably because they charge based on storage. Approval function isn't used by us, but i see how it could be useful. **Recommendations to others considering Wiredrive:** Use it. Customizable attributes such as expiration and downloading files are convenient and appreciated. **What do you dislike about Wiredrive?** I find it difficult to assign other accounts to projects- seems counter intuitive to have to go to users page and then check a box from there. Should be able to via the project page. I would also like the page to auto-refresh after the uploads are complete, in case I lose the upload window behind other windows. Then I can easily tell if the files were uploaded successfully or not. **Recommendations to others considering Wiredrive:** If sharing video and images is a major part of your business, wiredrive excels greatly at it. **What problems is Wiredrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Aside from the main uses such as client postings and sharing portfolios/reels, I've also been using wiredrive as a faux FTP/file transfer client of sorts. For example I love keeping EDLs and AAFs on wire-drive so I can track what I've done. Ease of Use. Secure. World wide compatibility. **What do you dislike about Wiredrive?** Certain things are not as easy as they could be; for example adding content to a presentation you can only use content from the library. It would be great if you could also add content to a presentation from other projects as well. Currently you potentially have to have duplicate content in both projects and library. It's a bit of a hassle. **Recommendations to others considering Wiredrive:** DO it. **What problems is Wiredrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can share content with all of our clients and other offices around the globe. This is fantastic when we have executives traveling constantly and need something to them instantly. Wiredrive has been a great resource for our studio for many years now. ### 45. Wish there was a way to select the order of clips that are on the same link (now they automatically are ordered alphabetically). **What problems is Wiredrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** For our marketing and post-production needs, it provides professional and clean review-able links. The ones we create through the website often end up in the Spam Folder!!! Deleting content and folders is surprisingly not easy to do. **What problems is Wiredrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can share content with clients very easily which is great. Updating links has been very useful as we constantly have new client notes. ### 50. At any point you will know if someone looked at your link or if they didn't. Lots more data is available to you and helps with accountability. Also the customer service has always been very quick and helpful. **What do you dislike about Wiredrive?** There is some information in the "reports" page that isn't available in just plain "Projects" and vice versa. Sometimes if you want to know one thing, you have to switch back and forth between the pages and it's cumbersome **What problems is Wiredrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** As I said before, Wiredrive keeps track of accountability. If frivolous files are being uploaded and copied without any foresight or checking.
