"Window 11: A new Beginning for Microsoft"
5/5
What do you like best about Windows 11?

Window 11 features a new, more contemporary appearance that is more in line with other recent operating systems like macOS and Chrome OS. In addition, the new design is more user-friendly and intuitive, making it easier to discover what you're looking for.

It is intended to be faster and more responsive than Windows 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

Because Window 11 has comme quite stringent hardware requirements, not all machines can be updated to it. Many consumers who were hoping to update to window 11 on their older machines will be disappointed.

Some outdated programmes and drivers are not supported by Windows 11. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Snap Layouts and Tabbed File Explorer Make Multitasking a Breeze"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Windows 11?

The most impressive feature for my workflow is Snap Layouts. As a Data Researcher, I constantly have multiple spreadsheets, browser tabs, and PDF reports open at the same time. Windows 11 allows me to instantly snap these windows into a perfectly organized grid, which has significantly improved my multitasking efficiency compared to Windows 10.

Additionally, the new Tabbed File Explorer makes navigating through deeply nested project folders much faster, and the overall UI feels much more polished and less distracting, which helps during long hours of data analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

The high system requirements mean it doesn't run well on older hardware. I also find the new Start Menu a bit less customizable than the one in Windows 10, which took some time to get used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smoother Management and Stronger Security Defaults in Windows 11"
5/5
What do you like best about Windows 11?

Windows 11 has made day to day management a lot smoother compared to Windows 10. The new Settings app is cleaner and it's easier to find what I need without digging through old Control Panel menus. Since I manage systems for around 200 employees across different office locations, I really appreciate the improved security defaults, things like PTM 2.0 requirements, Secure Boot, and Windows Hello are already built in and don't need much extra setup on my end. Group Policy and Intune integration also feels more stable, and pushing updates or policies across VLANs has been less painful. Performance wise, it feels snappier on newer hardware and multitasking with Snap Layouts has actually helped our staff work faster, especially during multi window tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

There isn't anything major, but a few small things could be better. The hardware requirements, especially TPM 2.0, meant we couldn't upgrade some of our older machines right away, so we had to plan replacements earlier than expected. Also some of the older third party tools and firewall agents we use needed driver updates to work properly after the upgrade. Nothing that couldn't be fixed, just extra testing time on our end before a full rollout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive UI and Outstanding Support That Solves Issues Fast"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Windows 11?

I like its UI and UX. I can install applications easily, and creating, deleting, or renaming files is also simple. I can open multiple window tabs and move or copy files without any hassle. I can also multitask easily by opening multiple apps on the same screen. Since we rarely use command-line tools, this is very easy to use. The best part is the support, which is very impressive: one day I had a speaker issue, and when I connected with an agent, they took control of my PC and fixed it within minutes, which was really impressive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

It consumes a lot of RAM—more than 40% is already used, and sometimes it shows 50%. It also uses a lot of battery and CPU, so when I try to multitask it lags some times. Most of the tools I need require a premium plan, like Microsoft Office. I’m a developer and I need to run Docker, but it requires WSL an extra Linux environment to run Docker, which also consumes a lot of memory. this is not good. "Modern, Secure, High-Performance OS with Seamless Microsoft 365 and Azure Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Windows 11?

What I like best about Windows 11 is its modern user experience, strong security, and productivity enhancements. Features such as Snap Layouts, Virtual Desktops, Microsoft Defender, Windows Hello, and seamless Microsoft 365 integration help users work more efficiently while maintaining a secure environment. The operating system is stable, performs well on supported hardware, and is well suited for both business and personal use.

From a Pricing/ROI perspective, Windows 11 offers excellent value for organizations already invested in the Microsoft ecosystem. The improved security, productivity features, and simplified device management help reduce operational costs, increase user efficiency, and lower the risk of security incidents, delivering a strong return on investment over time.

In terms of Support/Onboarding, Microsoft provides extensive documentation, training resources, and enterprise support, making deployment and adoption relatively straightforward. Compatibility tools, migration guidance, and integration with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, and Windows Autopilot simplify onboarding and ongoing device management.

Regarding AI/Intelligence, Windows 11 continues to evolve with AI-powered capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot, intelligent search, voice assistance, live captions, and enhanced accessibility features. These AI features improve productivity, streamline everyday tasks, and help users work more efficiently while supporting modern workplace collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

While Windows 11 offers many improvements, there are a few areas that could be better. Some hardware requirements, such as TPM 2.0 and newer processor support, limit upgrades for older devices. Certain user interface changes, including the simplified context menu and taskbar customization limitations, can reduce productivity for experienced users. Major feature updates occasionally introduce compatibility or stability issues with enterprise applications and drivers, requiring additional testing before deployment. Additionally, some advanced settings are spread across both the Settings app and the legacy Control Panel, making system administration less streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Interface with Room for Performance Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Windows 11?

I like Windows 11 for its excellent user-friendly interface and stability. The easy installation process makes upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11 a breeze for both PCs and laptops in our environment. I appreciate the regular patches, which provide robust security, and I find the large community valuable. The upgrade from Windows 10 is very easy and, although switching from MAC OS involved hardware changes, the transition has been smooth overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

Performance shall be still improved. Slower especially when I use MS Teams on bit older laptops. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Reliable and Productive Operating System"
5/5
What do you like best about Windows 11?

The most helpful thing about Windows 11 is its modern **UI/UX (User Interface and User Experience)**, which is clean, intuitive, and user-friendly. It also offers improved productivity features such as **Snap Layouts** for better multitasking, making it easier to organize and manage multiple applications.

Windows 11 provides seamless **integrations** with Microsoft services like OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365, allowing users to collaborate, store files, and access their work across devices more efficiently.

In terms of **performance**, Windows 11 delivers faster startup times, improved responsiveness, better resource management, and enhanced security, resulting in a smoother and more reliable computing experience.

Overall, Windows 11 makes both everyday work and personal use more efficient, productive, and enjoyable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

One area I dislike about Windows 11 is that some **UI/UX** changes make common settings and features harder to find compared to previous versions. For example, the redesigned context menus and the split between the Settings app and Control Panel can make navigation less intuitive and require extra clicks for routine tasks.

From an **integrations** perspective, Windows 11 encourages the use of Microsoft services such as OneDrive, Microsoft Edge, and Microsoft accounts. While these integrations are useful for many users, they can feel intrusive for those who prefer third-party alternatives or a more customizable experience.

In terms of **performance**, Windows 11 generally runs well, but it can feel resource-intensive on older or lower-end hardware. Background processes and updates may occasionally affect system responsiveness, especially during active work.

Regarding **pricing and ROI**, the operating system offers good value for users with compatible devices. However, the strict hardware requirements—such as TPM 2.0 and supported processors—may require some users to upgrade their PCs, increasing the overall cost of adoption.

For **support and onboarding**, Microsoft provides helpful documentation and built-in guidance, but some interface changes may require users to spend time relearning familiar workflows. More interactive onboarding for new features could improve the transition from earlier Windows versions.

Finally, while Windows 11 has introduced more **AI and intelligent features**, these capabilities could be better integrated into everyday workflows and offer users more control over when and how AI features are used.

Overall, Windows 11 is a solid operating system with a modern design and strong productivity features, but improvements in usability, flexibility, performance optimization, and user control would make the experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Organized, and Productive—Snap Layouts and Tabs Shine in Windows 11"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Windows 11?

What I like most about Windows 11 is how it improves everyday productivity without making the overall experience feel unfamiliar. The interface looks clean, and after spending some time with it, it ends up feeling more organized than earlier versions. Features like Snap Layouts and multiple desktops have become a regular part of my daily workflow, especially since I often have several applications open at the same time. It’s much easier to arrange windows, switch between tasks, and keep everything visible instead of constantly minimizing and reopening apps.

Another thing I appreciate is compatibility. I use a wide range of software throughout the day—from productivity and collaboration tools to development utilities, browsers, and design applications—and I rarely run into installation headaches or performance problems. File Explorer has also received some genuinely useful updates, particularly tabs, which make working across multiple folders feel far less cluttered. Smaller refinements like improved search, quicker access to settings, and a better clipboard history might not seem like a big deal individually, but together they save noticeable time over the course of a typical workday.

Performance has been solid, too. Boot times are quick on supported hardware, memory management feels better than what I experienced previously, and the system generally stays responsive even when I’m juggling multiple tasks. I also like that the security enhancements run quietly in the background and don’t demand much attention once everything is set up. One minor drawback is that a few settings still feel split between the newer Settings app and the older Control Panel, so finding certain advanced options can take a bit of digging. Even so, the overall experience feels polished, reliable, and well suited for both everyday use and professional work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

What I dislike most about Windows 11 is that parts of the experience still feel a bit inconsistent. Microsoft has modernized a lot of the interface, but there are still moments where you’re suddenly dropped into older menus or legacy settings. When you’re trying to adjust something more advanced, you can end up bouncing between the Settings app and the Control Panel. It doesn’t happen all the time, but when it does, it interrupts what is otherwise a clean, modern experience.

Updates are another area that could use some refinement. I do appreciate that Windows gets regular security patches and feature updates, but I’ve had a few occasions where an update required a restart at an inconvenient time. Sometimes an update also tweaks the UI just enough that I have to spend a few minutes figuring out where certain options were moved. And while performance is generally very good, I’ve noticed that some background services or startup apps can gradually consume more resources, so doing an occasional cleanup helps keep everything running smoothly.

I’m also somewhat selective about the newer AI features. It’s good that Microsoft is investing in them, and some of the capabilities can be genuinely useful, but I don’t use them often enough to want them emphasized throughout the operating system. I’d rather have more flexibility to enable only the features I actually need. Another minor drawback is the licensing cost if you’re building a new PC from scratch, since a Windows license adds to the overall expense. That said, for most people buying a laptop or desktop, Windows 11 is typically included, so it’s not a major concern. None of these issues are deal breakers, but they’re areas where I think the overall experience could still be polished. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient and Reliable, But Frequent Updates"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Windows 11?

I like that Windows 11 is reliable and easy to use. The user interface (UI) is significantly better and more efficient compared to previous versions, and it lets me fulfill my needs without hassle. I also appreciate being able to view everything on the taskbar or screen without having to navigate elsewhere. Having an easy camera option and great functionality is a plus. I find it convenient to use multiple tabs and enjoy the plethora of features available. Overall, it's been smooth and helpful for my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

I can say, like, the updates are very frequent, so sometimes a new update comes and I forget. I don't know what exactly the changes they did and what they made. So lots of updates are there, but I at the same point, I can hear the updates are required for the box fixing and all those things. I use the relevant for three or four hours, now my laptop's got heated. So that is something I can say the background and the RPM and all those things should be improved.
