I like the way that the Security Awareness training is a simple method of training end users about the causes of clicking links that could possible cause major breaches for their own information as well as a business's safety.

Having to review the reporting on a regular basis determine who has clicked the links. But apart from this there have not been anything else i can think of that i disklike.

I recommend spending time looking at trusted emails and using the HTML coding to make it look effective but with simple mistakes so it does not catch the end user out every time. The SAT is extremely cost effective and does exactly what you need to do as well as having the benefit of providing the end user with courses to complete to increase their knowledge regarding security awareness.

Making end users aware and the effecting training in what can possibly gone wrong if a simple link is clicked. Making end users aware of the basics regards Security Awareness.

Making users aware of the harmful links that can be found within

Some good convincing phishing templates. Very reasonable pricing allowing an extended training period for not much money. Some decent training materials for those that do get caught (and obviously need it). Nice reporting that lists results. Ability to span different time periods with multiple campaigns.

Not having absolute control as to when stuff is sent. So an instant test of targets is not avaiable. Some more contry specific campaigns (I am in the UK) would be nice. A capture email contents and reuse import would be great to test current problem email acceptance.

Low cost means you can run a campaign quickly and cheaply. Its suprising who gets caught and is a fun game if you write predictions before each email campaign.

Refreshing customers safe behaviour. Showing customers who have trained some staff in security awareness through presentations, the difference that training makes (non-trained staff tend to get caught a lot more).

Overall reinforcing the weakest security layer: people.

Webroot Security Awareness Training is setup in a way that is easy to access and easy to comprehend. I especially recommend this course for beginners or users that need a refresher on security practices. The videos are interesting and you won't be bored to death with the quick training.

There isn't a whole lot to dislike about the Webroot Security Awareness training. If anything, I suppose it would be nice to have a more in depth version available to take after the WSAT.

We are educating our newer IT admins and some of our power users about the basics of Security Awareness. It seems to be an easy way to get people introduced to the concept.

The simulations that the package offers are excellent. Webroot allows for very detailed tailoring of the fake phishing emails. We have been able to make them extremely realistic and mirror Microsoft emails and others. The associated training for users is also easy to understand is very accurately illustrates what they need to look for.

The licensing model does not make it as easy to only pay for months you need to use it. Doing training monthly or more often would be ideal. However, not all of our clients want to pay to have the constant charge. They still want training, but only a handful of times per year. We were able to work with Webroot to find a way to accomplish this, but the licensing model is clearly not meant to encourage this option.

They offer a 30-day trial, so that is a great way to test it out to see what it offers. Having some sort of phishing training to offer clients is highly valuable. This is a great option, if not the best option out there right now.

Phishing is a real problem and will not be going away any time soon. Finding an effective way to train users on this has not been easy or convenient in the past. Webroot's solution offers exactly this, and managing campaigns is very simple. And, it gives an easy way to resell the product to our clients.

The best thing i like about SAT is Its intuitiveness. It is very simple to set up and configure, and provides a number of options. I've tested phishing campaigns with Go Phish and SecTools. This is by far a superior product. It lets you keep track of all the actions a user performed, and allows users to be redirected to training videos upon clicking on a phishing link. This is an important item, as many other products, simply tell you that the end user fell victim to the attack, and captures the details they provided, however, the "training" stops there. Going that extra step of providing information on what they did wrong, and how to prevent it from happening again speaks volumes. It teaches users to be proactive.

As good as this product is, the only thing i could probably say i dislike is the price point. Although you cant put a number on security and training, most companies do not want to pony up.

The only other issue is small, but if you have Webroot DNS enabled, or you have the Webroot Web Plugin, web browsers seem to block the link being opened. This is a good thing, but also goes against the purpose.

Give it a test run, make sure understand the concepts and don't forget to whitelist,

When testing with one of our companies, we realized how many users lacked the proper training on security. It is such an important aspect in todays technology with so many attacks in all forms. The question now a days is not if you will be attacked, it is WHEN will you be attacked. Every untrained user is vulnerable, and with the training this product provides, it should be implemented in companies globally.

I love that Webroot has a designed and developed community that gives access to security news, product questions, and expert advice. As someone that is not technologically inclined, I have utilized this forum often to understand my tech and how it is protected better. I also thoroughly enjoy the trivia questions they provide on their website!

There isn't much I dislike about the software itself. If I had to change anything it would be the initial welcome/home screen when I open the software. I would like to see more data on what my computer is doing, or what else I could do to make my computer more secure - specific to what I do on my computer.

As far as business problems, I am ensuring that my data that needs to stay confidential is and public data can be publicized safely. I've realized how important it is to transfer data safely, for example, via a dropbox or portal of some sort. Currently, I use a Citrix portal to transfer private data to our clients.

The training courses are easy enough for users to understand without being over complicated and boring. The fact you can target courses and run an entire program of courses and Phishing tests to a useful feature. Some good convincing phishing templates and we have created a new one for mime cast which was great! We managed to catch out a few of our customers with this phishing email template.

I think the reporting isn't as mature as it could be. The data is there but its quite hard to interpret and present back in a usable format.I would like the reporting to be expanded so we can get reports for our sales team, so they can then interact with our customers.

Being able to target users with training and showing there are issues with users simply clicking through to websites without thinking about the consequences.

WSAT is very easy to use. To launch a campaign requires very little effort and there are a fair number of templates available to use.

The number of templates is not as broad as other security awareness training programs. There are not as many tools available either.

Raising awareness within users is the overall goal. Making users suspicious of electronics messages and second-guessing, or ever better -- verifying authenticity. Raising user awareness helps tremendously with keeping user data and system information safe.

Here is a little background of the product: this product allows you to send fake emails to your supported users and if they click on the dodgy link/macro/file, they will get redirected to a training video of your choice (but keep it related). Now, the best part about this training programme is how easy it is to send out these fake emails, a quick 5 minutes to choose what will be included in the email and where the link in the email will go to. It's easy and very evil for some of the choices, there are some templates which make you laugh like a villian when you read through it. Experienced users can still get caught out by these emails, much more so when the emails are directed towards programs they use frequently, for example; if your users use dropbox, microsoft office or gmail. You get reports when your users have clicked on the link, so its pretty good to find out who might need more training or a potential visit.

This is a good product by Webroot. However with all good products, there are downsides. Recently, when trying send out a security training email with a fake link, when we clicked on the link to test where it would be going; chrome, firefox and (to an extent) edge blocked the website for us. At first I thought, "hey, thats good of google" then I realised the problem that these websites that webroot are using are being blocked by the browsers and this causes problems with the training, the user's wont get trained because the broswer has blocked the websites. Webroot should be aware of these changes.

Navigation of the Security Awareness Training page is missing functionality, there are boxes which give you information of how many targets (users) you have and how many campaigns have been launched.

You can't click them to view the information, instead you have to navigate through different menu's to get there. This is more of a quality of life implementation that should of been there from the start.

Adding new targets (users) to the overall company target list is an obsolete pain, you only have one choice, to import a list with all your new targets details. Say, if you needed to add multiple people, sure this method works nicely and is easy to do. But if you wanted to add one or two new people, you need to download a new file and add one or two lines in and then reupload, when a simple add button with the fields on, done through the website would be more efficient and wouldn't annoy techs.

And that's the things I dislike with this programme, maybe the points I listed are small and petty points, but they are what can turn people away from using a product. Even through these bad points I still recommend this product.

Use it to test your customers regularly and see if they need further training once they have clicked on the fatal link.

The benefits we have realised, would be that we can test who in the business is liable to click on a link which could cost the company, in money and lost data. In catching these users out they can watch the informational video and realised they shouldn't rush into the email and click the link. This has increased the security of the businesses' we monitor, as when we call the users to follow up on their link click they know that it was not a good idea to do so and we are able to educate them further.

Being an existing user of Webroot products, it's super easy to get campaigns started because everything is centralized in the Webroot console.

Just need to update and provide newer content a little bit faster.

I would consider looking to implement the Security Awareness Training alongside Webroot's other offerings like their DNS and Endpoint Protection. The ease of use and the central management of all three allows you to better manage your clients.

You can throw an AV agent and network firewalls etc... but without training your users, you still leave your organization at great risk.

The training content is well presented and easy for those taking the courses to understand. From an admin perspective, the speed at which you can set a course up and running is really impressive, plus now as an MSP we can manage it globally from our GSM console.

Needs auto addition of users. If we could have a workflow that said 'when I create a user in Office 365, automatically enroll these courses' then ' in 1 month enroll these courses' etc plus running phishing campaigns the product would require far less admin overhead.

Phishing emails often get caught in spam filters and junk folders (they're doing their job at least!)

Educating team members on cyber security to fulfill our obligations under regulations such as GDPR, Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO27001.

I like the ease of the process of doing the training the videos are not too long and its very easy to follow.

There are no major drawbacks that I can think of to be honest.

The portal is easy to use and the training is very straightforward. Having looked at a variety of different products, we have found that SAT aligns very nicely with our existing stack of security products, so we would definitely recommend.

Assists clients with knowledge on the types of scams to look out for.

The concepts. Considering endpoint an entity formed by not only devices but also by users, now we have the right tool to manage completely the endpoint protection.

It's english only, not localized. Ok for the possibility of customize some elements, but training materials and posters are only in english. We are in Italy, and this is a big limitations.

We are solving the problem to manage in an organized way end users training and evaluation about cyberrisks. We now have the possibility to improve vulnerability scans of customer network including the human elements.

As the title reads the training program is really efficient in educating masses the benefits of cyber security. The best part about the program I found was simulation training on Phishing attacks. How to prevent phishing and once affected what are the immediate next steps one should follow?

There could have been more interactive sessions/projects on real-life security breaches. A scenario backdrop where the user is playing an important role in preventing breaches. Such simulations are better and fun for users.

Its worth the money.

Educating masses on prevention of cyber-attacks is a general way of spelling benefits of this program. Users who want to pursue cybersecurity, its a great training for them. Having this course in one's portfolio also leverages his chances for future opportunities in cyber-security.

The tool to send example phishing emails to users is brilliant. This really reminds you how easy it is to get caught with these emails and should hopefully open employees eyes.

Some of the courses are a bit short and simple, and some dont even have any questions at the end which makes it a bit too easy for users to click through to gain certification without looking at or taking in the content.

The training has made the whole office more security aware and knowledgeable I believe reducing the chances of a phishing email been opened significantly.

The concept and execution of this is very cool. Setting up users and a campaign was very easy. There are several templates to choose from for the campaign and landing page.

All the domains needs to be manually whitelisted for this to work. We use gmail so the product wasn't very useful to us as the spam filters automatically pick it up.

Ensure that you're capable of editing the whitelist for your email or these will be auto filtered to junk.

Running a security assessment to see what users would click on.

The training was very to the point with no fluff to bulk it out making it perfect to fit in a busy schedule.

very difficult to find anything wrong with the training.

From initial phishing campaign it is straight forward to identify the users that need further training and maybe 1-1 coaching to assist them in keeping the organisations data safe. Ongoing campaigns can then keep staff conscious of the threat posed by these attacks.

We have a client with over 1000 non IT staff based remotely around the country that we can now roll this out to and it will enable us to start making them more aware of the types of attacks that can and do occur.

How realistic the emails looked ... they almost got me!

I'm not sure if the function is in there, but it would be nice if you could set it up to do random emails over a period of time.

It has a great range of intuitive videos that really help you understand things such as physical security and GDPR.

The only slight issues I've had with it is that some of the video's are targeted at an American audience using examples such as a W2 document. Being from the UK, I had no idea what this was when it was used in a question.

Trial it and see the results! There's plenty of training sessions to sink your teeth into.

What I like best about WebRoot Security Awareness Training is that they understand the reality of the workplace and how things can truly be. It's not over-inflated or "assumed" that things don't happen, so rather, they cover all the basis with correct information to prepare you for any type of situation that may arise.

Even if you have a somewhat minimal IT background, it's extremely easy to follow and the information that comes from it is still useful for the every day.

I didn't really dislike anything, probably the fact that I didn't do it sooner.

WebRoot, overall, Is just a great company to work with and their solutions are simple and effective. I see no other reason for jumping ship to another company when they already do everything as needed.

Along with Webroot Security Awareness Training, we use their software on campus. It's a nice double-protection on the objective level and subjective level. Our users are more informed and aware of things but we also have a physical defense in place just incase something where to happen.

The simplicity yet effective courses. It’s hard to keep anyone’s attention now days, however the courses that Webroot developed did a great job of teaching the basics in a fun enough matter that incentives to complete the course.

From a MSP standpoint the vast array of options just wasn’t scalable like their Endpoint product. It required a lot of admin intervention from the MSP without offering controls out to the client.

It’s about educating the end user. It doesn’t matter how much you invest in security if the end user allows malicious content into your organization. Vast array of phishing emails & courses are basic and to the point yet fun.

The security awareness training was to the point, and demonstrated multiple situations that could occur in a real world situation. Multiple examples of Phishing attempts were demonstrated, and steps to differentiate these emails form legitimate emails were provided. I appreciated the ability to send out different types of security training, such as short videos, or long videos.

I've always been against cartoon like graphics. Some end users do not take the training seriously due to this.

We are deploying Webroot security to client sites that have issues with phishing attacks. Users are paying more attention and reporting emails instead of opening them.

It is easy to deploy, it monitors progress, and it is up to date with the latest information to validate the training provided is accurate.

You can demo this product to a client by activating a trial for it as well with no initial upfront fees for a product.

I can honestly say I do not dislike anything.

I would honestly advise you try the trial. Once you have done it, you will really start using it on a larger scale and start offering this as a service to your customers if you are in the TSP and MSP market.

As we all know, employees are the best defence in any business. As the "transformation" of IT take place, this is a very important feature to have. Our company have a Training Division and this will very soon part of this division.

The campaigns are easy to setup, track, and administer.

There is no simple way to connect with a mail server to pull email addresses

It's a great resource to a growing list of tools in Webroot's arsenal.

We have used the SAT to educate our end users, which has drastically lowered the number of users who have given their email credentials out.

This is a great internet security application. It runs smoothly, doesn't take much space and never interferes with what I need to accomplish.

There's nothing to dislike. It's easy to use, run and it protects my ASUS laptop (PC). If you need internet security I would go for WEBROOT - I have tried Kaspersky and was dissatisfied with them, but find this so much better.

This keeps my computer secure and safe from what appears to be countless viruses and other online problems. I also feel confident using sites, which host protected information with this security.

I like the ease of setting up phishing simulations and the ability to report and target training at those users who require it.

There are still areas for the product to improve. A broader list of pre-made phishing emails and phishing lure pages would be helpful.

The cost of this product is actually really low - this is a really good value, especially considering the cost of a security breach.

The main problem that this solves is a lack of awareness, at the end-user level and even manager level, of security concepts and tactics.

Webroot SAT is so easy to set up and in just a few clicks you can be up and running. Even easier use a manage service provider and they can do it all for you!

There's nothing to dislike especially if you use a Managed service provider as they can do it all for you.

the biggest cyber-security problem is users. Webroot SAT provides a means to identify which users are the most vulnerable and train them to be less so.

Easy to use as with all Webroot products. Fast to set up and has a ton of templates to use for the mail outs. Training parts are quick and informative.

More localised templates would be good for UK customers

This has really helped our customers to become more aware of the dangers of not checking emails properly and making sure they are vigilant in their day to day tasks. We are in the process of starting to roll out for all our customers, starting mid March

Webroot Security Awareness has impacted my work as i am no more aware of the potential threats that are in everyday phishing attacks, i know not to click on something if it looks suspicious and i also know what to look out for.

The best thing about the training was being able to sent phishing emails to our employees to test their knowledge after the training.

There wasn't much to dislike other than for a small company it would be nice to get it for a month or to at a lower cost.

The training highlighted the members of our team that would put or network at risk and helped to train them.

Organizations with Security Awareness Training have experienced a marked decrease in successful phishing and malware attacks. Our end users are more sophisticated in what they can and should open in their email.

The training is easy to setup and use, and it is very much user friendly. Once a user clicks on a simulated phishing attack the message that appears and directs them to the training module is straight-forward

There is nothing I can say I dislike except that the cost of the tool is not easy to convince a small business to accept. I feel it is reasonably priced though.

We are solving the problem of systems being down and data compromised due to user error. The training program has benefited our clients greatly by reducing their support costs.

The built in templates are very good and the customisation is great. The ability to create plans and deploy them the users helps automate the solution.

Making sure people are security conscious in their every day work is something that really needs to be instilled for all and having a reputable company like webroot involved in that is likely to make people take things a little more seriously.

I really enjoyed the Training it was very informative and showed me things I did not know the software could do. IT was also in Bit size pieces and the little test through out the training was really good.

Sometimes it is not easy to understand how to ovveride some personalised application .

We have reduced significatly (about a 80%) the internal cost of antivirus management

Integrated into the Webroot dashboard is a big benefit.

The interface needs some polishing. It doesn't integrate with 365. You have to build out a lot manually as there isn't enough templates or easy process to flow through.

Cybersecurity is a huge concern today and training bridges the gap of software protection to user protection.
