Plus they are constantly generating new templates and editing options. **What do you dislike about Waymark?** Here's my list - the length of list doesn't indicate unhappiness, just things that I wish could be adjusted 1) I always want more - especially when it comes to editing options and controls. I would like ability to ADD TEXT whenever and wherever I see fit - rather than being relegated to the template's text box location. It's a big ask - and I'm aware of the coding nightmare this would require. 3) Rather than selecting the voiceover read type (friendly, professional, serious, etc) - I would love to hear different examples from the voice talents (that too is a big ask, as I'm sure your voice talents are constantly changing) 4) I often wish every template had a version where a client logo or text line could be visible throughout the commercial. Currently, only a select templates have that ability. 5) I also wish I had a bit more control of the size/position of a logo. Often the imported logo needs to larger than what is allowed. 6) and finally, and this may be possible now but I'm just not aware, but could an option be provided to drop in audio (something like a jingle sing-out at the end of the spot). **Recommendations to others considering Waymark:** Do it. I seriously doubt you will find a more robust creative production platform. **What problems is Waymark solving and how is that benefiting you?** For most of my direct businesses (and some of my agency clients as well), Waymark is solving the issue of needing immediate, quality TV creative. While I have toyed with the new AI platform, I find the traditional Waymark platform to be more customizable. ### 2. I also love the ability to work with templates so I can choose what kind of design and flow of the creativce works best woth the prospect. I also love how easy it is to create something and dowload a video preview - I nevcer have to wait long at all! **What do you dislike about Waymark?** I don't dislike anything, but their are some reccomendations I have more improvement. Sometimes, the system gets overworked and it can be difficult to work through and the videos lag. I usually have to close out of the application and restart it when this happens. I would reccomend working on troubleshooting this for efficieny purposes. My last reccomendation would be adding more templates and AI voices. I have found myself repeating some of the same templates and have run out of ideas. Likewise, I think adding some more voice options woukd help with some of the more niche prospects. **What problems is Waymark solving and how is that benefiting you?** Waymark is is solving my problem of not having enough creative ideas at my disposal to show to prospects. ### 3. They are always surprise how fast it can happen and how you can get an immediate concept to build from. **What do you dislike about Waymark?** The robotic AI voices have to be explained to clients. If you work hard, you can find a voice that can read the script well, but even so they all have an AI sound rather than human. I don't see much difference in picking Imsperational or Fun, etc. I love being able to pick a template to build from, but I would like them broken down into better catigories. I would like to be able to enter the client website and the client social media. When I am trying to build a final commercial to run on air, I am more picky in changes I would like to make than the system allows me to adjust. **What problems is Waymark solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sometimes my production department is not able to create a spot fast enough to hit a production deadline. I use it frequently for selling, creative inspiration, and for actual ads. I have aired 4 actual Waymark created ads on our station with much satisafaction of the client. **What do you dislike about Waymark?** I wish we could give more direction prior to creation of the ad rather than just a keyword or a sentence. If we could give more detailed instructions about the ad that the AI Waymark could implement it could be way more efficient. I also have trouble searching the correct theme r background music. It takes longer than i would like to find the right background music than i would like. I think some of the templates are great. **What do you dislike about Waymark?** I dont love the voiceovers. They sound a bit robotic. I also hate that when your on the templates tab there is no search bar to type the template you are looking for. I spend a lot of time scrolling through the templates trying to find the ones I like. I also feel like there are a lot of templates that could use work. For example sometimes videos will stay on one image for too long or one phrase will be on for too long. Or they will have the logo come out in the middle of the video and it feels very out of place. I also feel when using the ai generate video feature it does not do a good job of picking the right images or videos for what the voiceover is saying at that moment. Same with the copy on screen. I almost always have to edit all the copy to make it make sense **What problems is Waymark solving and how is that benefiting you?** it is helping my advertisng agency be able to create marketing videos quickly. It would be nice if there was a way to create a spot from scratch without AI, or have the ability to edit more elements after the AI video is generated. I have Canva Pro and it offers a ton of freedom to add/edit graphics, images, video, etc. **What problems is Waymark solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's great for local franchises to take national ad creative and use one of the "upload your video" templates to add their local website/QR code, etc. Waymark is also good for potential clients who have never done video ads before, and would like to see a few different examples of what their video ads could look like. ### 11. You can fine-tune details of your video like music, voiceover, script, copy, and imagery and videos. **What do you dislike about Waymark?** The templates can be quite limiting - you cannot make changes to the length of a clip, the placement of the copy, or the spacing of the voiceover speech, to name a few limitations. You also cannot change most elements of the template or add in different slides from different templates. I also love how easy it is to use if I have assests that I want to include. **What do you dislike about Waymark?** I think that the templates are a little restricting since sometimes the VOs will not match timing exactly to the commercial spot I have in mind. However, this is easily remedied since we use Waymark as a skeleton of our commercials and with slight editing in a different software audio matches visual. **What problems is Waymark solving and how is that benefiting you?** Clients that are new to the industry are less likely to put forth large sums of money that are typically included with commercial production. I have been more successful with New Direct Business since I started using Waymark. **What do you dislike about Waymark?** The only negative I have heard from clients is some of them don't like the AI voice over. Easy solution. You have a script created by Waymark. Have a live voice do a voice over change out the voice over. **What problems is Waymark solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem it solves is making prospecting easier and more effiecent. I can create 5 or more spots in an hour and get them to prospects that I have not talked to previously. The conversation is about getting on the air. I am not trying to get past a gate keeper to talk to the decision maker. If they are interested, I am talking to the decision maker about their television commercial. It makes the process of prospecting so much faster, easier and more efficient. ### 27. I love how easy it is to use so that if by chance the client falls through, you havent wasted much time. On the other hand you can spend as much time as you like tweak and editing an ad for a client to make it perfect. I love that I now have the ability as a sales person to create ads that we need to have done quickly. Our biggest competitor advertised the same last minute event, they aired a picture of the event flyer and a quick 10 sec message about the event, on the other hand we had a full fledged ad that detailed the event so thoroughly and with such quality that it was really surprising to see in comparison what they did with short notice vs what we were able to do. It also shows the clients that we care and that we are willing to go the extra distance to make sure they are satisfied. I like being in control of the ad my clients want created. If I could be a one stop shop for all ads I would. Whenever the opportunity presents itself I immediately think "Waymark" It relieves stress from our production team with last minute ad requests and it brings in money that we may have had to lose out on because we woudn't be able to create something so quickly. I like the way the the entire site is set up. its starts really simple with the url but as you dive in you can get extremely specific with colors schemes, backgrounds, voiceovers, and stock images, brightening an image or doing the dark overlay are all great options to make a commercial look really professional. I also like that you can import your own images video and audio. Also I am really proud to say that I have singlehandedly created 3 commercials in the last 3 months that have aired on our station and that is thanks to waymark. Of those three sales all were new clients and all were "last minute". One was a one time promo buy. One is a new client that will likely return to advertise her next event and one is a client that we have signed up for an annual contract. The Waymark promo for this client is a temporary ad untill the production crew can get an produced and shot on the green screen with a full script and shooting editing revision and then laundching which can take weeks with everyones schedules and all the steps necessary. Also I usually download the ad when its approved and then we ad the QR code over it exactly where we want and the logo or other things in specific places. Just a couple finer details that only take a few minutes before it is ready to go. I am very pleased with Waymark and I hope the rest of my team will use it as much as I have and have similar success! Thanks for all you do! **What do you dislike about Waymark?** Issues with saving on Explorer with some of the new features such as the new AI voices. Also sometimes I have to work around the text box or framing of things. I could remake the ad but at that point in the process its a roll of the dice. With all the work I put into it I usually just find a workaround. **What problems is Waymark solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time Constraints that clients have for when they would like the ad to air vs when first contact is made ie 2-4 days. Well previously something like that would be either impossible or just a really stressful time crunch for my production crew. With Waymark I do all the work, I know exactly what my client wants and it can be used for the entire flight of the ad or as a temporary ad to bridge the gap until our production crew could feasibly get everything completed as far as a standard ad with filming and clients and scripts edits and revsions. I am learning a lot about creating ads. Not only am I getting better and more adept at creating ads, I can add it to my resume! It's a new skill AND passion of mine! I know how to do it and I find it really exciting and rewarding to see an ad that I made on air. If I ever stopped doing sales management, I think I would love to be in the digital ad creation industry alone because I really enjoy it and I find that I have a knack for it. ### 39.
