Watermark SS&E is simple to use and provides great insights into the current student situation, allowing us to intervene at the right time. We have visibility of potential issues and current grades through reports, auto-alerts, achievements, and staff alerts. This allows us to repond in a timely manner with the appropriate support. The best part about this website is that everything is laid out right in front of you. All of the information that you need is on one screen. It is only a click away if you want to get deeper into something else regarding a student, like the courses they are taking or other notes associated with that person. This is not necessarily something I dislike, but I think it could be a welcomed addition to make it easier. All people associated with a student are listed on the right side of the main profile screen. I want to be able to hover over any of those people and have the option to send them a text message or a note. This would save just one more step. The only other way that I see that I can reach out to somebody associated with the student is to click on the 'message' button above the student's name, and then there is a drop-down menu. Watermark keeps all of my students right in front of me and allows me to look at them from a bird's eye view. I can delve deeper into any one student if I would like. Watermark SS&E allows our advising team to efficiently address student academic issues through multiple features. We have expanded the use to key stakeholders across campus for their specific needs, all centered on student support. We are seeing increased collaboration from various departments, allowing us to support students in ways we never have before. Watermark SS&E allows us to see detailed student information, collaborate across departments, communicate more easily with target groups, narrow our student subsets, and work more efficiently to solve student academic issues. This has benefitted us greatly in knowing which students are struggling academically and providing support more quickly. This is positioning us to reach our persistence and retention goals. The ability to access information about students you work with in one place. The ease of use which allows faculty and staff to engage with students by email, text message, or push notification in the app. The fact that you can set permissions/access at a granular level depending on staff role. The only downside is the fact that some changes are made to the product without advance notice. However, this is not a large issue due to the overall usability of the application. Watermark Student Success and Engagement allows us to have an "all in one" place for faculty and staff (including but not limited to Academic Advisors, Success Coaches, and Counselors) to monitor and react to the success of our students. This has allowed us to assist students when they need it, and allows for proactive action, rather than just reactive action. From and advisor standpoint the Watermark Student Sucess and Engagement is really easy to use because it integrates with our course planning system, Moodle, and various areas of campus so that advisors have a big picture view of what is going on with students. The use of reports, filters, tags, pipelines has imporved our ability to support, coach, and encourage students.
