I have been following and using Vyond since its early GoAnimate days, and it continues to improve with each update. These new features help me develop fresh approaches to presenting my training materials more quickly, which makes me very satisfied. **What do you dislike about Vyond?** There is definitely room for further improvement when it comes to templates; in my opinion, updating and refining templates should be an ongoing effort. Another area that could use attention is the limited availability of backward views for characters and props. I often find myself needing to animate a character from behind or create an over-the-shoulder perspective, but the current options make this difficult. While it is possible to approximate these views by constructing characters out of shapes, this approach is both time-consuming and limits the range of animation possible. **Recommendations to others considering Vyond:** Seriously, this tool is really worth the money and if you have an inhouse content development team you can have a Team account, and be able to share an cowork on each other's projects. I was an original GoAnimate user, and it has come on leapd and bounds in the last couple of years. Its astonishing. Some of the AI voices are still robotic, though it has come a long way. That said, Vyond has some of the BEST AI generated voices when you compare across platforms. Once you set a backdrop for a video, you can actually save it as a template and use it next time. This is helpful when I create videos that should reflect the Brand 2. The fact that now I can give a topic or a script and Vyond can create videos out of it is really awesome! 3. Creating Avatars using my own image or something that I would love in an avatar is simply amazing 4. The text to Image really works well, though with time I guess it will get better **What do you dislike about Vyond?** 1. The pre-existing templates needs to be checked by the team on a regular basis and improvise or increase the inventory of it. 2. The Modern avatars do have limited customization compared to the traditional characters, like the lipstick colors, shoe styles, hair styles and body types. 3. I guess integrating a higher or better version of AI in text to video generation feature would bring fantastic results. I am sure the team is working on it though. 4. If you can add a tool like AI Prompt writer, which will assist us in refining prompts specifically for Vyond video/text generation, that would be an absolute show. **What problems is Vyond solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vyond has been immensely helpful in decreasing the video creation time for me. Because it is creating it for me just with the help of few words I am giving out to the AI, and then i just need to adjust and give it final touches as required. Boom! my work is done! It was very easy for me in terms of using the same branded backgrounds for my videos. It is possible because we can actually save a background as a template. Another thing that saves my time is the text to speech, the voices that it has, I don't have to visit 100 websites to find a good one! ### 12. I've created animated videos to use as additions to online courses, AI avatar videos, and screen recordings with AI voiceover. Each option allows for a wide range of customization. All of these are easy to incorporate with other tools we use such as Rise and Storyline, and import into our LMS. The Vyond UI is fairly intuitive and easy to learn. I've been able to find tutorials and support materials to help me create everything I've done in Vyond. **What do you dislike about Vyond?** The main issues I've had with Vyond thus far are that the timing of objects is a little clunky. I wish things text used on slides would be on the timeline with the audio for easier adjustment. It's easy to use and I use static images in PPTs and e-learnings as well as GIFs and videos. **What do you dislike about Vyond?** I wish they would improve their search function with the character creation area. I can end up wasting more time than I like trying to find the right clothing, hairstyle, etc. It's not easy to find what I'm looking for even when I know it exists. I'd also love a list of all the actions. There's no way I'm aware of all of them and many times I just happen upon new ones that are really useful.
