For ages, they had a Mac app, but I was limited to the Chrome extension. They launched the desktop app last year and it's been awesome. I love that I can record videos, edit them, and then create captions for it - all within the one app. For the most part, I only use it for screen recordings (with the video bubble) for my clients, but it's great even just for that. I'd say I use it a few times a week at least, and it consistently delivers. I've also used it for webinars or other things that I wanted a recording for. It's really easy to set up and use, and in the past when I've asked about features (like the desktop app), or if there happens to have been any issues, customer support is always solid. **What do you dislike about Vmaker AI?** Every once in a while, a video will fail to upload. It's extremely rare these days. The most recent issue was after installing an anti-virus, and the anti-virus kept stopping Vmaker from being able to operate in the background so it wouldn't continue recording / it wouldn't upload the video. I just needed to change my settings to allow it to run in the background, then it worked fine. Other than that, I haven't had any upload issues for ages (at least a year or two). **What problems is Vmaker AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** I do lots of videos for clients in my business, so I primarily use Vmaker to do screen recording videos (like loom), but I've used it to edit those videos as well.
