One of my favourite features is the Shorten tool it can turn my longest videos into short, clean highlight reels automatically, and it works surprisingly well. The platform is easy to use, the results look great, and it just makes the whole process so much smoother. Definitely a tool I’m happy to recommend!

The best part of Vmaker AI is the versatility of the software! It covers video recording from just about every angle you can think of. Besides that, the problems I've had in the past are now gone because they are constantly upgrading the app. Yeah, it’s kind of a funny issue.

With all the updates coming from both them and Chrome, you really gotta keep both updated before you hit record. Otherwise, it might freeze up on you, and you won’t get your recording.

I like how easy it is to just click on the icon when I've pinned it in my google chrome and record quick video tutorials for my colleagues and clients. As soon as the video is recorded, another window automatically opens with the actual shareable video page where I can easily edit the title and copy the URL to share. I've only scratched the surface of what Vmaker AI can do. For ages, they had a Mac app, but I was limited to the Chrome extension. They launched the desktop app last year and it's been awesome. I love that I can record videos, edit them, and then create captions for it - all within the one app. For the most part, I only use it for screen recordings (with the video bubble) for my clients, but it's great even just for that. I'd say I use it a few times a week at least, and it consistently delivers. I've also used it for webinars or other things that I wanted a recording for. It's really easy to set up and use, and in the past when I've asked about features (like the desktop app), or if there happens to have been any issues, customer support is always solid. Every once in a while, a video will fail to upload. It's extremely rare these days. The most recent issue was after installing an anti-virus, and the anti-virus kept stopping Vmaker from being able to operate in the background so it wouldn't continue recording / it wouldn't upload the video. I just needed to change my settings to allow it to run in the background, then it worked fine. Other than that, I haven't had any upload issues for ages (at least a year or two).
