For data scientists in particular, Vizlib is an excellent tool for data visualization. Additionally AI features and free tools could make it better. What problems is Vizlib solving and how is that benefiting you? Vizlib enables us to design Qlik Sensex dashboards that are both aesthetically pleasing and user friendly. Vizlib is a very easy going tool to develop dashboards and gain more insights out from your data. It really takes your reporting to next level in Qlik when plug the Vizlib extensions. Its entire product offerings from visualization to collaboration and to data management makes it as a one stop solution. It has become a very crucial part of our reporting & analytics and is being extensively supported by developers, product design team and even end user expects a high quality reporting. Its entire product offerings from visualization to collaboration and to data management makes it as a one stop solution. It has become a very crucial part of our reporting & analytics and is being extensively supported by developers, product design team and even end user expects a high quality reporting. In my work as Developer I use Vizlib Library on daily basis which allow me to deliver awesome dashboards to the business stake holders with high level of expectations. Also since year I'm working with Collaboration Package: Writeback and Team Work. this 2 features I'n my opinion are game changers.Thanx to Writeback data flow is no longer linear but circular which opens loot of locked before doors. Business is able to affect data directly in dashboard and see outcome. When you add TeamWork for In app conversations collaboration is complete. It's really awesome. Vizlib has a suite of tools available that allows for greater customization in visualization objects, more powerful interaction (especially with the adhoc report tool and writeback capabilities), and easier navigation between reports. Nothing that's a dealbreaker by any means, but hopefully as the product suite continues to mature, they will continue to fix these as well as adding enhancements. Vizlib's visualization extensions have allowed us to customize Qlik Sense well beyond its current capabilities. This includes use of the adhoc tool, the writeback capabilities, and the navigation bar. What do you dislike about Vizlib? Sometimes the fast pace of adding new feature neglects testing and ensuring all existing features remain working properly, causing disruption to existing apps. Qlik was and still is missing granular and advanced customization options for some visual objects and this is why Vizlib was initially used. The Vizlib Library and Self-Service modules offers a lot of visualizations that are highly customizable. The only thing I can really think of is that Vizlib's products are not cheap. I work in a small data analysis team in a large corporation. The concept is nice and addresses one of the glaring detractors to using Qlik... that you can only analyze data with it, and not correct data that needs a change. Vizlib promised the ability to write back to our data sources in order to create a way to edit data within a QlikSense application rather than having to go back to the source file. Ultimately, after considerable frustration with slow responsiveness of the support team, we realized that they could not deliver on this promise. Like others, their demo was compelling, but their follow through was severely lacking. We terminated the contract, and asked for a partial refund, but they declined to provide that.
