A recent update with Dentrix allows the capture of images to be attached to insurance claims more fluently while not having to go through additional steps. This does save time and the attachments are an easy step. The mounts are plentiful and give most all options for your imaging for both large and small xrays. **What do you dislike about VixWin Platinum?** What I do not care for.... is the jumping in and out of separate windows to get to your imaging. It is not fluid, and it takes additional time, and there are many times that it will not open. There are instances where the software has to be reloaded, or you have to restart your pc. This not only takes time, but it is also interference during the work schedule. **What problems is VixWin Platinum solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are not really solving problems with the VixWin Platinum software, but it does work with the GENDEX and Dentrix. We also use a Nomad and it integrates with the software for that as well. ### 2. Also the export options are useful. **What do you dislike about VixWin Platinum?** the overall layout is a bit old school. but that is not a deal breaker at all. **What problems is VixWin Platinum solving and how is that benefiting you?** we use it for taking the Xrays with the gender 3d panoramic x-ray machine in our dental clinic ### 4. I like how they provide pre-made mounts to choose from (for example, FMX 18 films or 22 films, or 4 bitewings versus 2 bitewings with Pano). I also like that you can pick and choose your most used mounts or favorite mounts. It is quite easy to move and drag x-rays throughout the mounts, easy to take re-takes, the software allows you to change/adjust the contrast of the x-rays, and you can also view the "raw" image versus the sharpened image. I like how VixWin is easily compatible with multiple softwares such as Dox KBS, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, etc. **What do you dislike about VixWin Platinum?** I have had several instances where VixWin "loses" the x-ray. For example, I would take an x-ray and it would be there on the mount but when I went to view the x-rays on a different computer, they would not be present. I would sometimes have to retake the x-ray, especially if the patient is dealing with pain or discomfort. **Recommendations to others considering VixWin Platinum:** Make sure it is compatible with your scheduling software. **What problems is VixWin Platinum solving and how is that benefiting you?** The only main issues/problem I am trying to resolve is when the x-ray disappears, it is quite disappointing and stressful. :-( ### 5.
