This goes a far way and makes it so much simpler. I also enjoy being able to fully customize what I'm looking at. Having the product being built in excel makes it easier as well as I don't have to learn an entirely new program, I can build off my current base! **What do you dislike about Vivid Reports CPM?** I dislike not being able to do multidimensional lookups easily with a control panel. I wish it was able to easily look at multiple different parts of the account code in order to select both division and department easier at my company. **What problems is Vivid Reports CPM solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is solving being able to find transaction details at the click of a button. VIVID can handle multi companies, multi departments and multi currencies. The drilldown capabilities are exceptional. We are able to drilldown right to the invoice which in our case reduce the need to access our accounting software. We use Vivid Reports CPM daily. Customer support is beyond exceptional! Vivid recently added a feature that allows for on-demand data refresh on a limited basis. The software allows the end user to create an unlimited number of reports that relate to current and previous years for comparisons and analysis. We use Vivid as our primary reporter and financial analysis tools. The budgeting tools bring simplicity to a complext process. You can use Vivid to create and report budget informaiton, but also import the budget information into the ERP. Drill down features are intuitive. Vivid Reports is robust enought to handle mulitple companies, on multiple databases, with multiple year ends, but simple enough to where anyone can make the report work exactly as what is desired. Customer service is fantastic! They will show you the tools to "Vividize" current reports and are able to walk you through any situation. IT support works to fix the root cause of issues so you don't feel you are calling about the same things. **What do you dislike about Vivid Reports CPM?** Overall there is nothing significant about the software that is undesirable. **What problems is Vivid Reports CPM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vivid Reports CPM provides reliable reporting with the ability to drill down to the individual account and transations, but also to provide consolidated results at a c suite level report. Budgeting is as easy as having a non-financial person put values into Excel cells, yet robust enough to provde up todate values on a consolidated view. Budget features allow for a reasonable amount of complexity and include features to determine the assumptions to budgeting. ### 9. We use Vivid Software for monthly financial reporting for multiple companies. I am eespecially fond of the "drill" functions (down, across, etc) are great. I can drill into individual lines right from Vivid without needing to access our ERP. Exporting then to excel is a valuable tool for identifying trends and comparing YOY. It took some time to implement and receive appropriate training. Once that was all complete, I am confident in my abilities to use, modify, and maintain the software. Customer support is exceptional. We have reference binders and traning videos to use as additional on-site support. I also find a great deal of value in the quarterly newsletters. So many helpful tips! **What do you dislike about Vivid Reports CPM?** It takes a fair amount of training to be fully functional and get optimal use out of the Vivid. **What problems is Vivid Reports CPM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being excel-based, Vivid is using the same platform I work in day-to-day. This benefits me and my organization as I can get the most out of the software. Also, we recently moved to the cloud.
