I also like that it doesn't break the bank and has features that you would expect from a software package that is a lot more expensive. You can import video from almost any source as well as export the video to many different formats. It's easy to use straight out after the installation will little to no learning curve. **What do you dislike about VideoStudio Pro?** I have found some issues with Filters, but they were minor issues that could be overcome. Another thing would be the annoying ads to try and get you to upgrade or purchase one of their other programs that are on by default. I feel that once you purchase the software you should not have to be hounded for upgrades. **Recommendations to others considering VideoStudio Pro:** I didn't have the funds to buy Premier so I looked around and found this to be a great alternative. **What problems is VideoStudio Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have been using VideoStudio for many years to edit home videos for myself, family and friends. I have used it for more than 3 years and I really think it's great. The application contains several options like slowing down of a video which helped me a lot. I really liked gloss effects and transition effects which are already present in the application. **What do you dislike about VideoStudio Pro?** The thing which I observed is it hangs up a lot when any other even small process is running in the background, especially during rendering. It is fine for the normal laptops, but it happens in my high end laptop too. Other than this, when we install it, the effects for transition is very less which should be increased for better usage. And the text too. The effects which I found for any text is very less. Please develop it a little bit so the text transition will look good too. It uses CPU not GPU for rendering so like I said it is slower, but overall I accomplish more because I don't have to work around crashes **What do you dislike about VideoStudio Pro?** Week customer relations. 1) first they force you to register - the program won't start without it. 2) then they (Corel) force u to email verify. 3) then they ask you a million time if you want [x] Critical Updates AND exclusive offers if you just want just the updates but not the garbage spam - you can't do that. 4) Then their web store is retarded - same company but if you want to buy corel studio and corel draw u can't buy it in the same store. 5) The program saves hidden copies of videos on my computer and I have to dig around to find them and erase. 6) My final concern is why am I getting ads when I paid for the product? **What problems is VideoStudio Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** This is a very sophisticated and flexible software package for movies creating. ### 16. Videostudio works like a timeline and allows for drag and drop designing. It is simple to navigate and import your own videos, music, photos, etc. You can basically create and edit your videos without the need of professional video skills. The ability to export to a wide variety of formats to fit different devices is a big plus. I also love being able to create my own DVD menu. Software for this type of work can be expensive. Corel Videostudio is very cost effective and the upgrades priced well! **What do you dislike about VideoStudio Pro?** I find some of the transition effects to be low quality and would like to see these improved. Occasionally my software randomly crashes and that can be a real pain. The trial doesn't allow you to try out the DVD making feature so if that is what you want it for, you can't truly try it out. It will help you to make the best decision. Try it with video as well as photos. I love the ability to create video announcements and snapshot those screens for single slideshow presentations as well. This software works with many others having the ability to export to a variety of formats. I have been able to use for simple slideshow presentations to full scrapbook wedding/graduation videos. Whether 2 min slideshows or 45 minute videos, the software runs very smoothly.
