The folks on the Vestd team have been extremely helpful in getting my team up and running with an EMI scheme. Having no previous experience with or understanding of the scheme, I had an endless stream of questions, which the team handled with an abundance of patience. Some things cannot be updated myself without Vestd approval (though this could be a good thing - keeps me from accidentally messing things up). Also, our Articles of Association were previously filed with a different company, and because of this, Vestd is not allowed to look at my Articles to confirm that I'm not doing something wrong. (I understand it would be a significant undertaking when I didn't use Vestd for this, but just thinking of if I could ask for anything, regardless of whether it's reasonable.) I would like better access to the guys working behind the scenes. I think their calendars are managed by Calendly (or some similar product) and I much prefer to have my suppliers and partners at the other end of the phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not only is Vestd a great equity management platform, with a really intuitive UI with integrations with companies house and really clear advice on how to notify HMRC (which currently cannot be automated because of HMRC), their customer success team are super knowledgeable about all aspects of equity management and have an incredibly quick response time - a huge thank you to Mark Harrison and Becky Pollard. Given legal contracts and company articles are generally very fluid and specific, there's some gaps with the fact you need to fit into Vestd's data model, but the customer success team are very supportive to help find either work arounds, or your set up can be implemented ad hoc for a small additional fee. Nothing. The whole option/share task itself is hard and complicated but Vestd just comes in and make it 99% easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's convenient, quick and easy. It standardises many manual steps while offering enough customisation (either from the app directly or as a service from the team) for advanced / one-off situations.

The subscription model is suitable for us, but others might prefer the more one-off payment models offered by competitors.

We currently still plan for which shares / options to give future new hires / open roles in a spreadsheet, then we execute in Vestd. It would be nice to get rid of spreadsheets altogether.

It would be nice if advanced templates like shareholder agreements could also be provided, either like Rocket Lawyer or in partnership with them. If Vestd can also offer full data room features for non-shares / governance-related documents, or integrate with another platform that offers this, that would be very attractive. The Vestd platform is amazing for businesses such as ours who need a relatively simple mechanism to record their equity activity, EMI schemes, and shareholder information and so much more.

For me however the real stars of this company are their support staff, they are just amazing, we could all learn from their approach, no issue or question is ever too much trouble they will guide and assist every step of the way and even check and send reminders to ensure you meet your deadlines, such a wonderful team.
