On top of the product, the support team is excellent, responsive, proactive, and willing to jump on calls to solve things quickly. **What do you dislike about VESTBERRY?** We dislike that we can’t yet use the AI to directly extract and populate open questions from uploaded documents into the relevant fields. That would remove a lot of manual copy-pasting and make document-to-workflow handover much faster. Most importantly, the customer service is truly outstanding. Our customer success manager at Vestberry is consistently responsive and friendly, and they get back to me within a few hours every time. They’re also always available for 1:1s, and the colleagues on the chat service have been equally efficient and helpful whenever I’ve needed support. **What do you dislike about VESTBERRY?** The website can be slow to load at times, and some updates still have to be done manually, one company at a time, instead of being applied all at once—for example, downloading logos or editing reminders. Updating the ledger is straightforward and far less manual than with previous tools, and the automated extraction gives us a high degree of comfort that the data is accurate and complete. As a result, Vestberry genuinely functions as a single source of truth for our portfolio, which is critical for internal reporting, decision-making, and stakeholder communication. KPI collection from founders is also particularly well designed. The process is very light touch for portfolio companies, which improves response rates and data quality, while still giving us full control over which KPIs we want to track and how they are defined. Finally, the Excel add-in is extremely useful for ad-hoc analysis and model building. Being able to pull live, structured data directly into Excel makes it much easier to run quick analyses, build scenarios, or stress-test assumptions without duplicating work or worrying about version control. It bridges the gap nicely between a robust portfolio management system and the flexibility of Excel. **What do you dislike about VESTBERRY?** Vestberry will benefit from having a built-in AI chatbot function which would allow us to query our data more easily, from my understanding this is already in the works. **What problems is VESTBERRY solving and how is that benefiting you?** The AI extraction from investment docs results in it being significantly quicker for us to keep our investment ledger up to date after new investments and new rounds. In addition, the automated KPI collection direct from PortCos and one-click portfolio reporting significantly reduces the workload for quarterly reporting. Not only does this free up the back office to undertake other projects and provide more support for the portfolio but crucially it takes up less investment team time which results in more deals being sourced.
