VBR appliance disks cannot be expanded if need be. We initially deployed using the OVA and we outgrew this fast. It allows us to use one single vendor for our backup solutions on both Linux and Windows Server, which was not possible before. Adding Linux servers is really easy, you just select it in the dropdown and it gets added. **What do you dislike about Veeam Data Platform?** We had problems with backing up Linux databases that have constant traffic. It was having problems getting them to actually complete. This is being done on VMware, so there was a question of whether the issue was with VMware or Veeam, but it was still a concern of ours and something we were having to work through. **What problems is Veeam Data Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Veeam Data Platform lets us manage backups across Linux and Windows Server from a single vendor, solving the issue of needing separate solutions for each.
