Predatory billing practices. Do not support this company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My biggest issue is the billing and dismissive customer service. I discovered recurring charges I hadn’t realized I was incurring during months when I wasn’t using the application. I asked support to review my account activity and refund those charges, but they offered to refund only one and refused the rest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Vector Magic does an excellent job of not just vectorizing graphics, but doing it accurately. I have the ability to control what specific colors are used and refine the results, and it has consistently been the best option for turning raster graphics into vectors. The vectorization process can sometimes be slow, and when converting a complicated image — like a photo or a highly colorized illustration — it can be challenging to get color accuracy. Finally, the edges of individual shapes are sometimes a bit hard and jagged, but this last point has improved with AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love using Vector Magic for quick vector creation when working with printed materials or photos. I can create editable vectors without tracing, which is a huge time-saver. The speed of use really stands out because I can vectorize an image quickly, see how it simplifies, and make further edits before moving to Illustrator for more detailed changes. I also appreciate that I can easily remove or change colors with just a click to simplify logos without starting from scratch. Plus, initial setup was extremely easy, just install and run. Shapes are sometimes not 100%. For instance, vectorizing a circle may give you something that looks close to the eye but if you were to blow it up for use on a circular object you might find a small section of it is slightly out of round. It is not necessarily working back from geometry like Illustrator does - just need to be mindful of that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy it is to use! It's extremely versatile and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes it does struggle to differentiate the background from the foreground but that's usually a minor inconvenience. The work it can do far outweighs this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Vector Magic for its accuracy and ease of use. It converts raster images to clean vector files with minimal manual adjustment, and the results are usually very precise. The simple interface and quick processing make it great for fast, reliable vectorization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike that Vector Magic can struggle with very detailed or low-quality images, sometimes producing rough edges. The customization options are also limited compared to full vector-editing software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I love most about Vector Magic is its incredible accuracy and ease of use. The automatic vectorization is almost perfect every time, saving me hours of manual tracing in other programs. I can simply drag and drop a low-resolution image, and it produces a clean, scalable vector graphic almost instantly. The quality of the conversion is outstanding, as it captures subtle details and sharp lines that other tools often miss. The ability to remove backgrounds easily and export to various formats like SVG and AI makes it an essential part of my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While the tool is fantastic, the pricing for the desktop version is a bit steep, which might be a barrier for casual users or those on a tight budget. Also, when dealing with extremely complex images with many gradients and fine details, the automatic conversion sometimes needs minor manual adjustments afterward. I also find the user interface a little dated, although it is very straightforward to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Unlike some online tools that either oversimplify the image or completely miss the details, Vector Magic actually captures subtle curves, color boundaries, and details with good accuracy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As of now, there’s no mobile version, which would be handy for on-the-go editing or quick conversions from a phone or tablet. While it offers basic node editing and cleanup options, it’s not a full-fledged vector editor like Adobe Illustrator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Quickly and easily converts raster images to vector graphics in just a few clicks. Extremely simplified user interface, no extensive knowledge required. Lightweight, straightforward, and very stable software, it almost always provides highly accurate conversions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The desktop version might cost a little less to be perfect. I found the browser version less functional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
