What do you like best?
It has a convenient drag-and-drop interface that allows me to load, convert and save images very quickly. I can also copy bitmap content to the clipboard and paste it directly into the desktop application.
When comparing the results of other tools, note that Vector Magic produced vectors more faithful to the original bitmap. Also Vector Magic produces results immediately, which allow me to concentrate on other things more important when doing some work.
What do you dislike?
In the trial version this inactivates the function of saving the image. If I want something much more professional it is necessary to go to other software since this tool only allows to work quickly and easily. At the time of saving or exporting the images is somewhat restrictive by the formats that allows, also if you work with a high resolution image, the program tends to take a long time to load and in the end the result may not always be the expected.
Recommendations to others considering the product
Nowadays, the quality of the images is definitely important, but sometimes we run into the inconvenience of not being able to have a high readability of the images that we need to work on, which requires a long process of vectorization or simply paying a designer to Do the work.
Thanks to Vector Magic I can perform this operation with the minimum effort through a friendly interface that has from an "automatic process" button to an editor of what I am doing to avoid loss of details, allows to vectorize many image formats, and I can adjust the parameters until I get a suitable vectorization to finish polishing in programs that support vector editing.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Vector Magic turns the difficult and tedious task of tracing a bitmap by hand into an effortless experience, just by clicking and ready. This allows me to have control of my images quickly and easily. On more than one occasion, when I enlarge an image, I find the classic "pixelized" effect. On the other hand, in vector images, constructed using geometric shapes and not pixels, this effect does not occur, so they are ideal for working with printers, for example, in my case it allows me, together with the work team, to make designs for the advertising of our company quickly.
