Valutico (as of now) lacks a "last mile" to perform fine tuning of the valuation by including or excluding specific accounting lines to perform more specific valuation adjustments, when necessary. More importantly, in our experience this missing "last mile" would sometimes mean redoing the first parts of the process in excel over again. Valutico provides lots of different data and models to think about valuation carefully. Starting from standard market multiples, for example, you can seamlessly add a heap of correction factors, which range from economic considerations (firm size, client/supplier concentration, etc.) to ESG issues.

It's also easy to change valuation date, which may be useful in several real-world applications.

Finally both the technical support and customer success teams are very responsive.

Comparable data is not always available, i.e. a client knows of a transaction that took place in their industry, which is relevant for the valuation, but it is not always in the Capital IQ or Beauhurst database and so not available on Valutico.
