For a small fee, Useme takes care of all of that for me. I also really like the job marketplace and the fact that clients can reach out to me directly. On top of that, it's a Polish company, so it's great to be part of a local initiative. I also want to give a shout-out to Useme Plus, which lets you combine the freedom of freelancing with the security of traditional employment by providing access to healthcare and other employee benefits :) **What do you dislike about Useme?** It's hard for me to point out any downsides. I've been using Useme for three years now, and everything has gone smoothly from the very beginning. Whether it's invoicing clients or getting help from the support team, the experience has been flawless. The only "drawback" I can think of is that the name sometimes becomes the subject of jokes among my friends because it can sound a little bit suggestive 😄 **What problems is Useme solving and how is that benefiting you?** Useme makes it easy to invoice clients without having to worry about the paperwork that comes with it. They take care of all the taxes and other formalities, which makes life much easier for freelancers. If you're on the Useme Plus plan, it's also a fantastic alternative to running your own business. I really like the invoice calculator. The service always works as expected, from uploading the client work to managing the invoices. **What do you dislike about Useme?** I'm part of a subscription program called Useme Plus. I really like it but I was confused at first when does the commission fee drop to 0%, whether by first or by second invoice? Also if one thing could be improved it should be the e-mail response time, as it sometimes takes 5–6 days to get an answer. **What problems is Useme solving and how is that benefiting you?** Useme helps with managing invoices without needing a sole proprietorship. Most of the clients I work with, need a real invoice to pay for my services. Without Useme I would need to rely completely on managing contracts and paper work by myself. ### 3. For example, it would be helpful to have a step-by-step explanation of when fees are charged, when Useme Plus becomes active, and when the included benefits start to apply. Making these details more transparent would improve the overall user experience. **What problems is Useme solving and how is that benefiting you?** Useme solves the problem of working as a freelancer without having to register my own business. It makes invoicing and getting paid much simpler while taking care of the formalities. With Useme Plus, I can also access benefits such as NFZ, which gives me greater financial and healthcare security. We also appreciate the swift customer support and quick reactions to the problems our freelancers send them. **What do you dislike about Useme?** It is somewhat difficult for our freelancers to decide where to out which amounts, as there are 2 spaces (you will receive and your client will pay) and freelancers tend to mix these 2, which leads to further complications and the necessity to register invoices again. I've used it both as a brand hiring freelancers and as a freelancer doing ad-hoc projects. In both situations, I was able to get the project going in under a couple of minutes. As a freelancer who works for the same client on multiple occasions, it's just a matter of creating a new project, uploading the file, selecting the client details, and you're done. You don't need to worry about setting up your own business to issue an invoice, hiring an accountant, and remembering about taxes. It automatically takes care of that for you. What's also cool is that you can switch between the amount you want to get paid and how much the client should pay you. **What do you dislike about Useme?** Nothing to dislike. But I wish the platform would support more currencies, e.g. Swiss Franks. **What problems is Useme solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a brand who wants to hire freelancers, Useme saves me a lot of time. Before using the platform, I'd have to ask our Legal and Accounting Teams to create an agreement, get it signed by both parties, figure out where the person's doing their taxes, etc. Now, all of that is managed by Useme. Plenty of "man-hours" saved. As a freelancer, I can work with clients even if I don't have my own business entity. They help me issue the invoice for the client, process the payment, and do my taxes.
