I find UpdraftPlus dependable for making automated backups for websites and enjoy using it to migrate sites from non-production to production environments. The automatic URL replacement when switching environments is a feature I really like. There are also great options for backup settings, and I often use the find and replace text feature in the database, like changing an HTML color for a global update. I appreciate that there are many options to store backups offsite, with S3 being a great option. The initial setup was easy, and the free version is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes the migration does not replace all the URLs exactly. When migrating, URL does not update on some page elements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I started using Updraft Plus because I needed a solution for my clients who would sometimes allow their hosting to lapse and their websites would often be lost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, not much at all.

It has been very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am using this plugin from last 3 years. It is the best plugin for backup our WordPress website. Also, we can set up automatic backup schedule which is good part. We can send our backup automatically to remote storage. They have been providing many advance tools also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For multisite WordPress website, they have not provided such of documentation how can we integrate it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is the best WordPress plugin for taking backups of our sites. Been using UpdraftPlus for 4 to 5 years, and it was working great. Even we are just using the free version of the plugin, but still it has all the features you need, including storage integrations, scheduling options, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes, the backups are stored on the website's server even if external storage option is configured, but it only happens on some sites, not sure what the reason is, also on some restoration tasks, the back restoration is failing, but it only happens sometimes, otherwise the plugin is great. I am using updraftplus now since almost 4 years (July 2020)I am very satisfied. It's easy to set up and handle, makes reliable backups on schedule and whenever something is updated. Whenever something goes wrong for example a plug-in update it's easy to restore the version before. For me as a web designer it's very useful to make clones for testing purposes and to migrate my developing environment to life sites. The support is quick and reliable! Thank you for developing and maintaining such a great tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Up to now, and I'm pretty sure it's gonna stay like that, I have nothing to complain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I generally install updraft plus on every new WordPress website I manage.

It's very easy to setup and it's a reliable tool for backups.

I've also used it to migrate sites by backing up and downloading the database and assets (uploads) and then importing these to a fresh WordPress installation on another server. Saved me $$ and cut out a lot of messing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Price order site. Ideally it would be cheaper and then be in a position to manage more customer websites. The free version is great if you're building sites for yourself but there is a cost if you're using it for multiple sites you're building. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

UpdraftPlus is easy to configure and supports several cloud drives to store the backups. Implementing that is a 10-minute process and after that, you just leave it running to back up your Wordpress instance as frequently as you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The free version has some senseless limitations, such as a non-custom backup path on cloud drives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I enjoy working with Updraft Plus because it's so simple to use and goal-oriented. We use it on all our websites and sincerely, It's worth it.

The plugin offers a variety of backup options (local storage and cloud storage). The cloud storage option is my favorite because it allows us to store our site's content directly on Drive and Dropbox which helps to save extra space on our servers that would have been used up by the backups.

I usually perform both the cloud and local storage backups (for safety convenience) and restoring the backups is super easy and straightforward.

Before getting to know UpdraftPlus, I'd tried a few options and honestly, it's the best among a few that actually works well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is nothing that I don't like about this plugin, the developers are actually doing a great job and all I can say is a "big up" for their professional work model Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
